CIDISS. The Indonesian Government targets economic growth in 2019 at 5.3%, if national economic growth can be pursued at 5.3% in 2019 it is expected to reduce unemployment and poverty.
Deputy Chairperson of the DPR RI Budget Agency, Jazilul Fawaid, in Jakarta on Wednesday (19/9), stated that the DPR and the Government agreed to set a national economic growth rate at 5.3%, this through the Macroeconomic view that National Economic growth is very rational in the figures agreed upon after considering various national economic developments and global economic conditions “The government remains confident and optimistic that by 2019 growth of 5.3% percent will be pursued,” he said.
Economy Minister Darmin Nasution said the 5.48 economic growth target of 5.4% was difficult to achieve due to uncertain global economic imbalances, while the domestic economy strengthened, on the other hand international trade weakened, so the 2018 economic growth target had not been achieved because Non-internal external factors, “We plan 5.4% percent, but maintaining that has been a big struggle, it can go down to 5.3%,” Darmin said.
The government continues to boost programs that can improve national exports through programs to facilitate entrepreneurs to export abroad, through an integrated licensing system (OSS), Minister Darmin hopes that with the ease provided by the government, it can open the tap of Indonesian products abroad, and can attract investors to be able to invest in export-based industrial companies and export substitutes.
On the other hand, the government continues to press for oil and gas imports, especially diesel, which has been one of the contributors to the trade balance deficit, by continuing to socialize the use of Biodesel (B20).
