Even though the world is plagued by an epidemic that has claimed thousands of lives, the spread of radicalism has apparently not stopped. These radical and anti-government groups were allegedly using the Covid-19 Pandemic to spread their influence, in order to undermine the country’s authority.
The Covid-19 outbreak that has struck since some time ago has caused many casualties. In addition to causing health impacts, Pandemic Covid-19 also has implications for the chaotic chaos of the people’s economic sector. Especially after the implementation of Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) which periodically suppress freedom of business.
The importance of food intake, clothing and other needs are now being awaited. The government is not standing still, the government needs to plan carefully, what should be done now. Including providing stimulus for the people. However, on the other hand, radikali’s understanding is not like a begal always ready to take advantage of the situation. They always know when to fire their fire to get their prey. Propagate propaganda to undermine public confidence in the government. This declining trust will later be used to further attract prey. the goal is to create a chaotic situation in society and bring down the government.
Radicalism is like a chameleon, it can change according to the place it occupies. Radical groups can camouflage so many people are fooled. Especially if religion has been emblazoned. It is guaranteed that many will be ensnared by their seduction. Like magic, anything said is always able to bind the mind. Moreover, the sophistication of technology today is like no limits. Anyone, anytime, anywhere can easily access social networks that are suspected of lacking filters.
Not to mention the fact that users of this social network are young people, millennials even including minors. Unconsciously when radicalism infiltrated, it was too late to deal with. Do you still remember ISIS? The former sympathizers want to return home to Indonesia. This desire is really ridiculous because before they were determined to take the road to the city of ISIS operates. Forgot the country, until you could burn all your passports.
Not only adults, children also even participate with their parents. Those young people already understand how terrorists act. The reason is, these children are crammed with deviant doctrines every day. Harmful provocations continue to be implanted until they are strong enough to continue the struggle of ISIS. But, when this organization suffered defeat, the former ISIS sympathizers begged the government to return them back to their homeland in the archipelago.
Actually not a matter of pity or human rights. But more on the influence they will bring to Indonesia later. There is no denying that the anxiety about the purpose of gathering their strength back to Indonesia could be realized. Moreover, they have the heart to use children as weapons to get world attention.
The government actually does not at least provide various appeals, outreach in offline and online. To always be aware of this radicalism movement. Including exploring Pancasila which has covered all sectors of government and society. In essence, these radicals only use us to support their actions. After useless they will just come off. Like the former ISIS sympathizers above.
In fact, Umar Patek, a former high-class Bali terrorist, stated that the next generation of the nation must be on guard. Do not want to be consumed by the seduction of death perpetrators of radicalism. The reason is that radicalism is growing increasingly rapidly as technology develops. They are good at breaking into or hacking data. Stealing then uses it for their benefit.
If not now aware and improve themselves, then get ready to lose! Social networking content must now be watched out for. Do not let the heart’s intention to add information actually fall into the hoax of radicalism that is misleading. Deradicalisation efforts by the government could indeed help. But it would be better to apply a protective fortress with a variety of positive activities. This includes spreading good content, developing tolerance, and applying it to everyday life.
Small habits that do seem trivial. However, it requires great intensity and intention. In order to be a positive person, wise filtering also uses social media so that, it does not have an impact on the emergence of opportunities to be infiltrated by radicalists. Because wherever we are radical actors will continue to try to say hello.
