CIDISS. As with the diversity of tribes and religions in Indonesia, the diversity of opinion in choosing a future leader is also undeniable. Some choose X and some choose Y. But it is permissible if the choice is pure without any pressure from any party. The election of regional heads will be an extraordinary democratic party if all of its voters behave like this.
However, it is very unfortunate because there are still many voters in Indonesia who determine the choice is not based on the capabilities possessed. It can not be denied that we ourselves often determine the prospective voters based on Tribe, Religion, Race, and Inter Groups (SARA). Sometimes we choose the candidate because it comes from the same area as us, or has the same belief.
The motivation to make the choice as mentioned above is not worth doing. This is because such motivation is vulnerable exploited by irresponsible person to heat up tension election of regional head. In fact, there is a possibility that the issue is developed into a SARA issue with a larger scale that can disrupt the election.
Indonesian society is a society consisting of various tribes and nations so as to have a tremendous diversity. But make the diversity as a unifying nation, not as a split. This diversity of opinion will make the elections more colorful and festive. Do not be easily instigated or come with a call to action that becomes the seed of national division. Indeed, the divisions and clashes that occur will only benefit certain parties who clearly never think about the future of the nation. They will only laugh at his supporters trying to defend them furiously, while they make a profit from the split.
