Internet users are now not only confronted by a variety of news offerings, but also are responsible for having an educational role. By participating in posting positive content and counteracting the spread of hoaks, citizens are allegedly able to contribute to creating a positive climate on social media that can drive progress for Indonesia.
The realization of a more advanced Indonesia is seen as being in plain sight. All that remains is to exert all energy and thought to immediately realize the priority development program for the next 5 years. The success seen in a number of development programs has more or less been enjoyed.
The role of citizens and inspirational media in order to send messages of good character literacy to the younger generation effectively and pleasantly and foster optimism is considered very crucial. Citizens not only as connoisseurs of social media but must also be able to act as educational agents to support the development of a more advanced Indonesia.
If the synergy of the media with the ranks of the government is able to be built without reducing the main function of the media, then the aspiration of Indonesia to become an independent and respected superpower is not impossible to be achieved soon. Wise citizens who process social media by posting positive and constructive content, including actualizing the values of Pancasila, will make the growth of national optimism stronger.

Millennial generation in the context of citizens must also be actively involved in order to be interested in being able to educate and share positive news that can support development. For example, filling contents with various cultural promotions that “sell” and later will provide opportunities, the more familiar Indonesia in the eyes of the world. In addition to cultural diversity, positive behaviors that are judged to be able to educate other communities are to stop broadcasting hoax news or as yet unknown.
Meanwhile, the media must also provide literacy about the crucial development of infrastructure which will be continued to facilitate access from the production area to the distribution area, including to the tourist area. According to the Oxford Economies in 2017, it has predicted a number of improvements in Indonesia’s infrastructure development in the transportation sector (road, sea, rail and airport). Meanwhile, infrastructure development in the telecommunications sector is considered to be still small compared to the transportation sector, however, this achievement is better than before.
The media is also suspected to have contributed to the simplification of efforts and the revision of regulations which are considered to hamper job creation and business empowerment at the micro, small and medium level. According to the World Bank in 2019, the ease of business data of the archipelago managed to enter in 73th place. However, when viewed in terms of starting business, it must still be accepted at the 134th level. This means, regulations in Indonesia are considered still turbid and take a long time. So that the creation of regulations that are considered investment-friendly, simplification including synchronization of regulations. Both within the central government and regional governments, it is also very fundamental to be realized.
Why economic factors are considered important, because through this sector the community will be able to improve the welfare of their lives. If prosperity has been achieved it is quite possible to be able to realize national economic stability better. While the relationship between the role of citizens to implement education in all lines of society will have an impact on mindset and behavior, so that people are aware that the realization of Forward Indonesia can be started from an increase in human resources.
HR improvement is not only through compulsory education, but includes various education sectors. Including education in managing social media wisely and better. Moreover, the sophistication of this technology is considered easy to learn. So it does not need a degree in order to become an expert. By actively sharing knowledge that supports development, this does not rule out the possibility of cutting off the negative smelling links that exist in cyberspace.
The application of this education can begin with mutual tolerance, respect and respect for other parties. Do not join in busy posting content that has not been corrected truth. Or, you can also apply a filter system before sharing. So that the spread of content that is not good for the development of advanced Indonesia can be more controlled and organized.
