Awareness of the threat of terrorism must not fade. In fact the threat of terrorism is still looming over Indonesia, as evidenced by the terrorist bombings that exploded in Medan Mapolresta Around 08.44 WIB, on Wednesday (11/13/2019). The community was abuzz with condemning the terrorist act because it was included in a heinous and brutal act.
The suicide bombing occurred again in Indonesia. This time, the perpetrators acted in Mapolrestabes Medan. In that incident, the police had chased the perpetrators who broke into the Medan Mapolresta. Before finally exploding near the canteen.
Kasi Propam Kompol Abdul Muthalib had chased the perpetrators who broke into the Mapolres. Then there was a Bomb explosion near the canteen, as many as 6 people were injured in the explosion which was allegedly a suicide bombing. The six included four police officers, 1 PHL member and one citizen who was making SKCK.
Not only that, 4 police service vehicles were also damaged, namely the Bag Ops Railway Service Car was damaged broken glass and exposed to debris, Ka Bag Ops Private Car, and 2 Service trucks that suffered broken glass due to being hit by explosive debris.
The people who were currently taking care of the Police Registration Certificate (SKCK) in Medan Polrestabes, then scattered to save themselves during the explosion.
One eyewitness at the location who was also in the middle of taking care of the SKCK also saw a lot of debris scattered after the explosion.
The action was condemned by the Chairman of the Indonesian Presidium of Two Wheeled Assistance (Guard), Igun Wicaksono, that he strongly condemned the suicide terror bombing that occurred at the Medan Regional Police, North Sumatra.
The suicide bomber was suspected of using an online motorcycle taxi attribute when launching the action.
Igun has also submitted fully to the police to investigate the Medan suicide bombers. Is it true that motorcycle taxi drivers are online or just use attributes to disguise their identity.
Meanwhile, Ojek Dring Gojek also had a chance to speak up related to the suicide bombing that occurred at Mapolresta Medan, North Sumatra, Gojek Chief Corporate Affairs Nila Marita stated in his written statement, that his party strongly condemned the suicide bombing that occurred at around 08.45 WIB earlier.
Not only that, a strong curse was also launched by Muhammad Guntur Romli as a politician from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). He conveyed the curse through a tweet in his Twitter account @ GunRomli.
Guntur stated that the action was a cruel and barbaric act targeting Medan Polrestabes.
Of these events, of course we agree that there is no other attitude other than simply condemning the suicide bombing.
In this case, we must provide support to the police who will carry out professional law enforcement in order to maintain security and provide protection to all citizens.
Bombings and suicide bombings are radical acts, as children of the nation we certainly do not want that to happen.
Environmental safety precautions also should not be careless, because these events can happen every second wherever and whenever.
We also must not be careless, because terrorism and radicalism have political aims to seize power, establish the Khilafah and enforce sharia according to their version. This is certainly not in accordance with the Pancasila Ideology which has been fought to remain an inseparable part of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. The country of Indonesia which has the motto Unity in Diversity is not a khilafah state.
In eradicating radicalism and terrorism, of course the concrete thing that can be done is to burn down the potential for terrorist attacks. There must be no room for them to carry out attacks. Handling terrorism can be done by disabling who is the “brain” behind the scenes of terrorist acts that have ever existed in Indonesia.
The Head of the Public Information Bureau of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo stated that his party was still continuing to explore the incident. He did not deny that there were indications that the perpetrators were involved in terrorist networks in Indonesia.
Of these indications, naturally it is natural that many parties condemn / condemn the acts of terror that occurred at the Medan Mapolrestabes.
