The Free Papua Organization (OPM) is indeed unceasingly referencing the referendum with unconstitutional actions, even they also dare to attack the TNI / Polri to civilians who are not in line with it. Their cruelty has also given inconvenience to Papuans who want the Earth Cenderawasih to remain a part of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. The Armed Separatist Criminal Group (KKSB) or KKB in Papua has celebrated the anniversary of the Free Papua Organization (OPM) on 1 December 2019.
Luckily, in the event there were no significant incidents during the celebration a few days ago. Nevertheless the people of Indonesia are still reminded of the cruelty of the OPM and the community hopes that similar incidents will not be repeated. One of the survivors of the massacre by the armed separatist criminal group (KKSB) or KKB in Nduga, Papua on 2 December 2018 still remembers the event of deep sorrow for the people of Indonesia.
In the massacre, 17 PT Istaka Karya employees were confirmed dead. 1 TNI member killed and 4 people still in search. In addition there were also 4 victims who had almost been killed but managed to escape and survived the massacre. One of the survivors was Jimmy Rajaguguk, he said, that afternoon the workers were resting while playing dominoes.
Suddenly, there was a sound of people breaking down the doors of workers’ offices and camps. After searching for the sound source, it turned out that there were already members of the KKSB outside who came with firearms and sharp weapons. At that time the workers also had refused to open the door and had tried to resist. But there were too many separatist groups and they began to smash camp doors to room doors.
Jimmy said, he and the victims were rounded up and forced to march. The Separatist group also asked victims to undress and confiscate objects such as phones, wallets and money. At that time, 24 employees of PT Istaka Karya and 1 PUPR employee surrendered because it was impossible to fight the separatist group.
After the items were collected, the OPM members then shouted and asked their leader named Jonny Arung. After that, the victims were asked to line up naked. OPM then asked the victims to head to Kabo Peak and always put up with firearms. At that moment, there were pastors and 2 people who requested that all victims be released.
But the OPM was reluctant to release the victims and asked the priest to wait for the arrival of the Boss. If the Boss had come then the victims were not released, and the priest then left him. After 2 hours of waiting, the rope tied to the victim was released and they were held in a camp building in Karunggame. Overnight, the victim was held without clothes and the weather conditions in the area were very cold, where the temperature could reach 0 degrees each night.
The victims were woken up the next day at around 6am, Jimmy and the other victims were also forced to walk to the top of Kabo. Arriving at the Kabo Peak all victims were bound and the location was carried out, all of their friends were executed. According to Muhammad Aidi, as Head of Information for the VVII / Cenderawasih Military Command, said there were around 50 members of the separatist group who were at the site of the massacre.
Reportedly, they danced and shouted the sounds of the jungle typical of the interior of Papua, then fired at the victims in a sadistic manner. Most of the victims died immediately covered in blood, while some others pretended to die lying on the ground. Because of this case, some contractors felt uneasy and uncomfortable because they were worried about the terror committed by the OPM.
OPM’s actions are clearly humanitarian crimes and OPM is not only an organization selling false hopes related to Papuan welfare, but also a criminal and terror group that must be immediately crushed by the state. The cruelty, of course, cannot be tolerated, the Separatist Group only wants to create a false dream by launching an act of terror that is troubling the public.
