Choirul Fuadi, central Kalimantan, CIDISS – 1.855 participant followed in Culture Festival Isen Mulang. The participant was representing of 14 regency/city of Central Kalimantan. Carnival was opened officially by governor of central Kalimantan, Agustin Teras Narang.
This carnival was followed by 57 represent. Not only represent from regency but also a number of work unit (SKPD), art and culture community, and Dewan Adat Dayak (Dayak Custom Council/DAD).
Moreover, there are participant from abroad, such as Korea, Australia, France and America. Each region showed their culture such as dance and handicraft, like Kotawaringin Barat brought Batu Kecubung.
Governor of central Kalimantan, Agustin Teras Narang said that through this festival is place to promote culture and tourism. “This festival became place to promote art, culture which rarely expose to the world,” Said him, like quote in Kalteng Pos (19/5).
He added, Central Kalimantan government was very support this yearly event and hope, in the next year will get new idea to promote culture of Central Kalimantan.
