Cianjur — The State Intelligence Agency (BIN) is committed to continuing to distribute humanitarian aid to the survivors of the Cianjur earthquake. Of course BIN also collaborated with many elements of society to provide useful assistance to refugees at the BIN Post in Cijedil Village, Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency. One of the religious communities in Tangerang, namely the Dewi Durga Maa Foundation, also distributed assistance in the form of basic necessities to the BIN Post, Friday (9/12/2022) afternoon.
PT Rekayasa Industri’s main director and chairman of the Dewi Durga Maa Foundation, Alex Dharma Balen (52), said that this humanitarian assistance was expected to ease the burden on the survivors of the Cianjur earthquake at the BIN Command Post. He learned about the existence of the BIN Post from the mass media after President Jokowi’s visit to Cianjur yesterday.
“Because as fellow religious people we have to help each other, hopefully the people of Cianjur will remain steadfast and bounce back from this disaster,” said the man with Indonesian-Indian trade. The administration at the BIN Command Post is very organized, equipped with various statistical data and well recorded. So that donors can freely entrust their assistance to the BIN Post.
“We know about this post through the mass media, especially because of Pak Jokowi’s visit last Thursday, and the data or statistics here are very complete. This BIN post is very extraordinary and represents human values, so we are sure they are able to distribute aid on target,” he concluded.
This was confirmed by an earthquake survivor, Nani Suryani (34) who said he had been sheltering for 15 days at this command post. He is grateful to be able to take refuge in the BIN Command Post which has complete facilities. “I am grateful to be able to take refuge in this command post, because the facilities provided here make our lives easier. This sense of security and comfort lightens our burdens affected by the earthquake,” he concluded.
