Covid-19 vaccine coming from China will be tested in Indonesia. The community is very enthusiastic about being a vaccine volunteer, even registering hundreds of people. They want corona to leave this country immediately . So after testing this vaccine, it is hoped that it can pass to the next stage, then be distributed to all provinces in Indonesia.
The arrival of the Covid-19 vaccine, which was the result of a Sinovac (China) company with an Indonesian SOE, was welcomed by the public. At Garuda Bandung Puskesmas, West Java, there are many volunteers who register via WA. Only 300 people can eventually become volunteers, because the maximum capacity is that much. Because there are volunteers from other Puskesmas.
The Governor of West Java, Rid wan Kamil, indeed called on his people to become Covid-19 vaccine volunteers . He said there were 1,600 residents there who were prepared to become volunteers. They will go through stage 3 tests, because in the previous stage it turned out that this vaccine had already been tested overseas. Although done with a few people, but the results are satisfying.
There are several conditions and screening before the community can become volunteers for Covid-19 vaccine . Among other things, they have never been sick with corona, are in good health, and are truly willing without being forced. They also cannot have congenital heart disease and diabetes. So it is certain they will be invulnerable when injected with the vaccine and after that be as healthy as ever.
The enthusiasm of this community is encouraging because they are not afraid of being vaccinated with vaccines in Covid-19 . This vaccine is guaranteed to be very safe, and does not cause the effects of fever as when injected with other immunizations. Vaccine testing is carried out for 3 months to see its effect on the volunteers’ bodies. If everything is healthy, of course the vaccine will be distributed quickly to the wider community.
There are 2,400 vaccines to be tested but only 1,600 vaccines will be injected into volunteers. Family of volunteers need not fear the effects, because in the second test, volunteers in China only experienced pain after injection. The Covid-19 vaccine test is also very safe because it already has a research permit from the Padjadjaran University Research Ethics Committee and of course according to the procedure.
Bambang Heriyanto, Corporate secretary of Bio Farma (the state-owned company that handles the Covid-19 vaccine ) stated that in addition to vaccine testing, there is also a control and stability test. So before the vaccine is officially distributed, it is definitely safe because it is controlled in a laboratory and has received permission from the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).
If the Covid-19 vaccine is safe, then don’t be afraid when asked to volunteer. Because it has been proven that there are no side effects. Vaccine testing is not a death sentence or threat. Do not also curse the government for asking many people to volunteer. Because this action is appropriate, so that the Covid-19 pandemic quickly ends and we live normally again.
Precisely if you want to be a volunteer, it will save the lives of others. The faster the Covid-19 vaccine is tested, the next process will be on schedule. Then the inauguration of the vaccine will also be done quickly . If it has passed through various stages, the vaccine will be immediately injected into all Indonesian citizens and we can all be free of corona.
The government certainly will not take the risk by letting its people just die because of corona. Because of this, vacancies for Covid-19 vaccine volunteers were opened for Indonesian citizens who were willing. They are not victims of the state, but rather are heroes of the savior.
The Covid-19 vaccine test was welcomed by the public because it was guaranteed and received supervision from the Padjadjaran University Research Ethics Committee. There are no side effects from this vaccine test. So, don’t be acute to volunteering, because we can do good to protect others.
