CIDISS. Chairman of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Arief Budiman said every stage in the implementation of Regional Head Election 2018 in 171 regions throughout Indonesia, can be done in innovative ways. The goal, so that the five-year party of people’s democracy can run goodly.
According to him, related to the implementation of Public Eletion 2018 and later when the implementation of Election Legislative (Pileg) and Presidential Election (Pilpres) 2019 can bring new ideas and innovations from each KPU in the region.
Arief explained, that was attended by each chairman and secretary of the provincial KPU level throughout Indonesia and is a routine agenda every four months.
Arief said that the Rapim is a routine agenda every four months we do meetings of KPU leaders with the KPU in Indonesia. Our goal is to evaluate what we have done and to plan for the next three months. So, actually more on monitoring and implementation of our routine activities.
Arief further explained, the activities of the Rapim also to discuss the activities in the next three months to be implemented in each region. Later, at the next meeting will be discussed again evaluation of the implementation of activities.
The General Election Commission (KPU) at all levels is asked to innovate at every stage of the election. With innovation, the party of democracy can run for the better. And hopefully the future democracy peseta can run better and smoothly.
