The Head of Public Relations Division of the Indonesian Police Headquarters Inspector General Setyo Wasisto appealed to the public so that they would not carelessly carry out and disseminate false or hoax information received on social media. According to him, not only hoax makers could be charged, but also spreaders. “In the law, it is said who made, spread the hoax. If they (the perpetrators) say only fun or care for friends, the Law has regulated it,” Setyo said on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
