Free Papua Movement is a separatist movement which threatens the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. They perform very extreme ways in breaking Papua and Papua Barat out of the Government of Indonesia. Extreme ways such as uprising carried out by the National Liberation Army of West Papua. The formation of the military wing is clearly a threat to state security. Their existence raises a conflict with the Indonesian military until the occurrence of armed conflict and the emergence of casualties. In fact they perform diplomatic dialogue on countries allied (Melanesian) to recognition as a state.

The movement that is led by Benny Wenda has had offices in several countries, namely Australia, England, the Netherlands and the Pacific island nation. Through activist-activists, they speak in order to liberate Papua Indonesia. Raising petitions, the international well done. Fortunately, the state governments of Australia, Britain and the Netherlands recognizes the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia as a country. Nevertheless, Papua liberation efforts more frequently voiced by activists OPM to Pacific countries. They consider as allied countries will be able to provide support for the liberation of Papua. This was evidenced by the consistency of state support for the release of Papua Vanuatu. Vanuatu politics to encourage the establishment of Melanesia Sosialism concept that aims to unite the Melanesian races. The unification of the Melanesian races have been conducted with the advent of Melanesia Spherehead Group (MSG).

Separatist movements performed by OPM is an irony that the nation itself exploited by foreign parties so that they fight for Papua apart from Indonesia. They do not realize that the assistance provided by foreign parties is not free. Instead they want to do to the people of Papua colonization indirectly. Even the OPM separatist forms are forms of divide et impera tactics. Indonesia fraternity fractured nation to be ruled by foreigners. The same thing ever done by the Netherlands to Indonesia in the colonial period.

It is appropriate that the nation had a role in the OPM are aware that they are only used by foreign parties. They should recall how the independence achieved together. Recalling that Papua was an integral part of Indonesia. Even the people of Papua themselves have chosen themselves to become part of Indonesia through the Act of 1969. It should be borne in mind also that since achieved independence from the Netherlands, since then also all the people of any race and tribe of Papua is part of Indonesia.

Until now much of Foreign Organizations (NGOs) as well as other countries who pointed out that human rights violations in Papua. Are we going to remain silent on the accusations are not true by the strangers. Are we just kept silent when the brotherly people of Indonesia continues disturbed by a stranger who knows Just a piece of Papua? No! Papua is Indonesia. Maybe they use in common as brothers race. But the similarity of race does not mean to go and break away from Indonesia, because they only take advantage of this situation to their advantage. They utilize their own communities to divide Papua Indonesia. Reflecting on the race, Indonesia and Malaysia are the same race still frequent political tension and International interest.

OPM separatist groups like that led by Benny Wenda is a greedy man, only concerned with personal interests. They are selfish people like pirates damaging and endangering the safety of others for personal purposes. Supposedly if they want to prosper Papua, let’s together wake Papua instead of creating unrest at the expense of development and economic growth in Papua itself. OPM should be a concern for the entire community. We need to awaken the nation who are affected by foreign parties in order to re-serve the country, participate in nation development.
