Economic recovery is the focus of the government during a pandemic. Indeed, not only Indonesia has experienced a decline in the financial sector, but also throughout the world. However, the government does not want to be silent. a Job Creation Law was drafted to help the country’s economy recover.
The Job Creation Law was created and promulgated for a good purpose, namely to improve the economic sector in Indonesia. Indeed, the changes are not immediately visible and still need process. The existence of this law shows the seriousness of the government for the welfare of the people and increasing state finances.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said that the Copyright Act is a step in the government’s Work escalates economic growth. Seba b, when Indonesia wants to recover during a pandemic, it cannot depend on the macro sector. Namely the fiscal and monetary sector. However, the structural sector has also been improved. In the sense that later there will be progress in the system.
Improvement in the structural sector of the economy means there will be a change from the primary to secondary and tertiary sectors. Former Minister of Maritime Affairs Rokhmin Dakhuri stated that the primary sector is producing raw commodities by extraditing natural resources, for example mining. Meanwhile, the secondary sector is the manufacturing industry in the form of machinery, electronics, etc.
Rokhimin continued, the tertiary sector is the service sector such as education, research, housing, construction, and others. Several countries in Asia such as China are trying to move from primary to tertiary offices. So that their territory is more developed when compared to other countries.
If we look at the statements from Sri Mulyani and Rokhimin Dakhuri , the Job Creation Law will focus on changing Indonesia from the primary to secondary and tertiary sectors. It is undeniable that some people are still in the comfort zone of the primary sector, for example being fishermen, tin miners , and traditional farmers.
However, the existence of the Job Creation Law will make them change their mindset so that they move to the secondary and tertiary sectors . For example, a fisherman will think about processing fish and building a canned food factory. Meanwhile, the farmer does not only sell vegetables to middlemen, but also processes moringa into herbal powder, makes mocaf flour from cassava, etc.
They don’t need to worry about regulations because in the Job Creation Law there is a cluster of ease of doing business. When creating a limited liability company, you don’t have to deposit 50 million rupiah like you used to. They just need to complete the personal data and include a photocopy or scan ka RTU identity.
To get a business license, you don’t need to go around in circles like before. If previously had to go to the Dinas office, now it can be managed online . So that it can save time and save energy. Permits can also be issued quickly, unlike in the past, which had to wait for months.
That way, Indonesia’s economic situation will improve considerably. Because people’s thinking is starting to change and want to become entrepreneurs. They are excited to open a business because regulations and bureaucracy have been made easier, thanks to the ease of doing business cluster and the MSME cluster in the Job Creation Law.
If many people become entrepreneurs, Indonesia will turn into a developed country. Unfortunately in our country the number of entrepreneurs is less than 5%. Much less than Malaysia and Sin gapura. Why are the more entrepreneurs the better? Because entrepreneurs, especially MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy.
UMKM entrepreneurs absorb labor, thereby reducing unemployment. There will be a positive domino effect, namely increasing purchasing power . Because everyone has a job so they can get basic food without worrying about what to eat tomorrow. That way, Indonesia’s economic conditions will improve.
The Job Creation Law improves the economic sector thereby increasing people’s purchasing power. A positive domino effect occurs when many new entrepreneurs emerge thanks to the ease with which the bureaucracy makes PT and obtains business legality. So they recruit employees and increase people’s purchasing power.
