Jakarta, CIDISS – What we feared happened. Sarinah bombing may be had caused panic. But in reality Jakarta still have a voice, at least through the hashtag “we are not afraid” that when it happened just Indonesian people and the people in the virtual world do not drown in fear.
We are not afraid, is a spirit that was initiated by young people throughout Indonesia as symbol brave souls all elements of society. Movement of people who are not afraid of the terrorists obviously will change the philosophy of the terrorists in Indonesia. However, the movement against terrorism not only echoed the jargon we are not afraid, but it must be realized by concrete steps. Remember, do not be lulled by the height hashtag we do not fear that had become a trending topic on social media. Therefore, it is like playing arena against ISIS move to the homeland. The government and the people should always be alert as a warning to all that acts of terror could come anytime and anywhere. We must unite against terrorism in any form. What’s in the police, army and intelligence if there are a lot of people supporting terrorist acts in the country. Do not give the slightest opportunity and space for the terrorists. The joint resistance should be based on the realization that whatever the motivation of terrorist acts, whoever the perpetrators and their organization, as well as any ideology will only bring misery, for the people. Terrorist acts are acts contrary to the values of humanity universal.
Through the slogan we are not afraid, we have to build a common awareness that the ideology of terrorism and radicalism could be anywhere. Remember, police arrested at least dozens of people in different regions of Cirebon, Indramayu, Tegal, Bekasi allegedly linked to terrorist acts Sarinah. The unexpected was derived from the family or the people around us. This should be a lesson for us. Among the ways to protect themselves can be done by studying, understand and practice the true religion. Because of terrorist acts are often wrapped in a religious spirit.
If all of the elements participate in the fight against the terrorists, then the action is transformed into an all-powerful force. With we are not afraid, we are all asked to come together and join hands. That slogan was to make people aware that we are united in the fight against terrorism, sharing information and working together with all the good elements of the police, military, BIN, or others. Finally, cries of all of us we are not afraid make the terrorists hit back. They will feel like a failure. Moreover, the cry was interpreted as a symbol of resistance of this nation who raise awareness of the dangers of any ideology that teaches terrorism.
