Ex FPI officials did not move when Komnas HAM stated that the mass organization laskar had homemade firearms. This finding refutes their accusation that 6 FPI members were victims of the incident on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. Because what actually happened was that the police were forced to do it to protect themselves.

At the end of 2020 the community was shocked because there was an incident on the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 Toll Road. The news was of concern to many people, because there was a firm action from the authorities on the 6 FPI laskar. However, the community still believes in the integrity of officers, because the police are the people’s friends.

However, FPI officials did not accept it when their members became victims. They accused the government and asked the authorities to confess in public. Even FPI had planned to complain to Komnas HAM, even to international human rights institutions, because of their emotions.

Then the investigation continues and there is a re-scene. Komnas HAM also participated in investigating this case and complied with FPI’s request. Then, FPI officials seemed to have the upper hand because they felt that Komnas HAM was being defended by Komnas HAM. Unfortunately, the human rights protection agency found evidence that overthrew the FPI allegations.

Mohammad Choirul Anam, the Commissioner for Komnas HAM, stated that there were homemade firearms that were actually owned by FPI members. This spontaneous statement made FPI officials lose face, because they were caught lying. They had previously denied that the FPI laskar had firearms and asked the community for sympathy because they felt they were victims.

It is not yet known where the firearms belonging to the FPI troops came from. Because it is impossible for ordinary citizens like them to get it officially. First, the price is very high, and ownership permits are also very difficult to obtain. It is possible that the FPI laskar bought it from the black market, so the owner could be subject to the article on detention of illegal goods.

If the FPI laskar carries weapons, then it has been proven that this mass organization is truly radical. Why have you senpi while escorting Rizieq Shihab? Is he an important official? The possession of weapons to guard the FPI leadership raises the possibility that they are paranoid, or perhaps planning extreme actions.

Choirul Anam explained further about the chronology of the events on the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 toll road. The car belonging to the FPI laskar and the police car chased them together. Then there was a shootout when the atmosphere was quiet, because it happened before sunrise.

From this information, it can be concluded that it was not true that the police shot first, because they did it to protect themselves. If this decisive action brings victims to the FPI laskar, then they cannot be criminalized, for doing so when attacked by an enemy. According to Indonesian law, it is okay to do so, because it is for self-protection.

This latest fact has made the public even more antipathic towards FPI. They are proven to lie in order to ask for the sympathy of many people. When the lies are exposed, what steps can be taken? According to the Javanese term, becik ketitik ala ketara, the good is seen, the bad will also appear.

Komnas HAM’s discovery of FPI weapons further adds to the fact, because a few weeks ago a netizen found a photo of a gun on the internet, which turned out to be belonging to a FPI member. With these 2 evidences, they will not get sympathy, instead they will be rewarded with verbal abuse. Because it is proven that they have committed thuggery and radicalism.

Never mind all FPI dramas. After being disbanded, don’t act up again. The discovery of weapons belonging to the FPI laskar proved that they had committed acts of violence against the security forces, so the police were forced to fight back in self-defense. Hopefully FPI members will immediately repent and stop lying and do other negative actions.
