May 22, 2019 is a day awaited by almost all people, Indonesia. On that date the General Election Commission (KPU) as the 2019 election organizer will officially announce the results of the April 17 2019 voting. Official is not based on the Quick Count or Real Qount SITUNG KPU, but the results of physical manual counts are carried out in stages starting from the polling stations later going up to the next Kelurahan Subdistrict then the Municipality / Regency, Province and finally at the National level.
At each level the results of the calculation are always carried out in a plenary meeting attended by all witnesses from each party, witnesses from the Presidential Candidates and Vice President and witnesses from the Regional Representative Council (DPD) candidates, then go up to a higher level and so on until the final calculation is increased national. This means that every decision in the form of the results of the acquisition of each contestant is already known by the witnesses who represent it, and if a dispute occurs and the party who disagrees with the results will be written in the minutes so that it can be followed up later.
That is the vote counting system that has been carried out in Indonesia. So it’s actually very careful and feasible. Fraud problems that are shouted by one party might happen even if there are miscalculations or incorrect inputs. But it can be submitted to the Election Supervisory Agency (BAWASLU) both at the regional and national levels. Just prepare valid evidence along with witnesses who support the complaint. There is also no need to shout on social media, but when valid evidence is requested, it is plongo. The cheating shouted at the social media seemed to be a lot because it was amplified so much that it seemed to be getting a lot, 1 cheating was amplified by a thousand people, the results were confusing.
Fraud does occur and is carried out by both parties and carried out sporadically more because of the emotional factors supporting one candidate, so the assumption that there has been a systematic, structured and massive fraud has been too excessive. Unless the accuser can prove this through evidence that is legally valid and confirmed by witnesses.
For the issue of Election Disputes, if there are parties who feel aggrieved the Constitutional Court (MK) has been prepared to handle it. Bring the evidence and witnesses. Fight elegantly and with dignity in the courtroom.
The 2019 election is the first simultaneous election conducted in Indonesia, there are still many shortcomings and must be thoroughly evaluated by the government and DPR, the number of KPPS officers who died to this day according to the KPU has reached 336 people, deep sorrow is felt in the celebration of democracy, and this need evaluation. KPPS officers are the heroes of democracy and the spearhead of voting voting they have worked wholeheartedly, are fully responsible even acute fatigue is neglected for the success of the election, do we have the heart to delegitimize the election without a clear basis and only because of incitement and hoaxes.
Apart from anyone who won the 2019 Election, after May 22, 2019 the polarization that has occurred as a result of different choices must be sought to become reconciliation because we will still live side by side as the people of Indonesia, we have insulted the supporters, ridiculing each other is no longer the time. Even if there are parties who are not satisfied with the official results announced officially by the KPU, bring it to the realm of law in the event of an election dispute, the Court is the place. There is also no need to “inhabit” here and there by bringing thousands of people moreover having to make efforts that are unconstitutional which aim to delegitimize elections. Let us support the official and constitutional Election Results which will be announced on May 22, 2019 by the KPU. Let’s Knit Unity to build Indonesia for the Advancement of the Nation. Don’t be provoked by provocations of groups that have other agendas, namely destroying this nation. Do not want to be pitted against children of the nation by elements that have a hidden agenda.
