Jakarta, CIDISS – The issue of sexual perversion has become the object of debate for a long time in human consciousness. Community norms that recognize various kinds of sexual perversion faced resistance from groups who felt aggrieved over these norms. This kind of debate is becoming increasingly visible after appearing campaign conducted by the movement of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender).
The justification of the theory “that gay is genetic ancestry” are not true. “Nobody is born gay”, but environmental factors are most influential and these properties can be contagious for those who’s soul is not stable and not strong in the faith. It could also be due to the form of trauma and experience is not good when childhood. There are other factors as well, but these two things are the most dominating.
The role of parents in educating children become one of the important factors shaping the children’s character. A boy will tend to behave like g girl if educated like girl. Likewise, girls will behave like boy if educated like boy. Habits early will turn into behavior and will eventually form the character of a child.
In addition to using the pretext gay is genetic ancestry, the adherents of LGBT are also using DSM (Diagnostic and Statistic Manual of Mental Desorder) as a justification of psychology. DSM published by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), has been used as a guide for psychologists and psychiatrists to diagnose a person in case of abnormal, perversion or mental disorder.
LGBT justification that legalized the Government of Indonesia is only a ruse to undermine the morale of the Indonesian nation. For what we legalize “abnormalities” that could be an outbreak of disease in Indonesia. Remember, LGBT it is not innate, but the disorder that must be treated. Refuse LGBT does not mean to violate human rights, because the rights of the majority community should take precedence and be kept away from of LGBT. We should not mock or humiliate LGBT, but help them to recover and give them support. [NT]
