The new era of leadership under the elected President in the 2024 election, Prabowo Subianto, and the elected Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, is drawing near. The couple has a grand vision of realizing superior human resources (HR) as the main foundation for national development.

The focus on human resources will be integrated with the sustainable development of technology, education, and health to face global challenges. The high-ranking military officer who has been elected President in the 2024 elections is committed to building Indonesia with a primary emphasis on developing competent human resources and utilizing technology as a tool to maximize human potential.

The Prabowo-Gibran administration has the Asta Cita program, eight hopes that will serve as a guide for the next five years. One of its main focuses is the development of human resources through strengthening in the fields of education, health, and technology.

Prabowo Subianto, a national figure born in 1951, emphasized the importance of strengthening human resources as a foundation, far beyond merely investing in technology. According to the Chairman of the DPP Gerindra Party, technology is merely a tool, while the key to success lies in the people.

The development of competent human resources is a priority in the Government Work Plan (RKP) for the year 2025. The Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance, Isa Rachmatawarta, explained that the national budget under the Prabowo-Gibran administration has been adjusted to support those priorities.

The budget includes strengthening in various sectors, including education, health, and gender equality. The government will maximize the allocation of funds in the education sector to create a better learning environment, enhance research and development in science and technology, and expand access to quality health services for the entire community.

Isa also emphasized that health is a crucial foundation in the development of superior human resources. The Prabowo-Gibran administration will ensure that there are equitable and quality health services for all citizens.

A free nutritious meal program, which is also part of one of the priority programs, will be a part of the strategy to improve the health quality of children and the younger generation. The Deputy for Development Funding at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Scenaider Clasein Hasudungan Siahaan, explained that this program aims not only to meet the nutritional needs of children in schools but also to be a concrete step towards strengthening the development of healthy human resources ready to compete in the future.

Free nutritious meals will be implemented across all levels of education and integrated with school development programs, especially in the new National Capital (IKN). This step aligns with the vision of Prabowo-Gibran, who are committed to ensuring that every Indonesian child has access to proper and quality education, as well as adequate nutrition. This is believed to enhance the quality of education and health, two important pillars in shaping a superior generation ready to compete on a global level.

In addition, the development of technology will be one of the main instruments in accelerating the improvement of human resource quality. The new government will focus on the utilization of modern technology in various sectors, including education and health.

Digital technology, such as online learning and telemedicine, will be optimized to expand the reach of education and healthcare to all corners of Indonesia. By leveraging technology, the government is not only accelerating access but also enhancing the quality of educational and health services.

President-elect Prabowo Subianto emphasized that technological development must always be accompanied by an improvement in the quality of human resources that is adequate. The government does not want Indonesia to be just a user of technology, but also a developer.

Therefore, significant attention will be given to the higher education and research sector, with the hope that Indonesia can produce innovators who can leverage technology for the nation’s advancement. The government will encourage collaboration between universities, research institutions, and industry in the development of technologies relevant to national needs.
In supporting the development programs for human resources, health, and education, the government will also strengthen the role of women, youth, and persons with disabilities. Programs that promote gender equality and social inclusion will receive serious attention.

The Prabowo-Gibran administration views the role of women as one of the important pillars in human resource development. Therefore, policies that empower women, such as support for women entrepreneurs and access to healthcare for mothers and children, will be a priority.

The Asta Cita program, promoted by the Prabowo-Gibran administration, aims to create superior and independent human resources through sustainable education, health, and technology.

The development of educational infrastructure, free nutritious meal programs, and the strengthening of health services are strategic steps to create a healthy, intelligent, and competent generation in the modern era. These programs will not only improve the quality of life for the community but also make Indonesia more prepared to face global challenges.

Elected President Prabowo Subianto believes that investment in human resources is a long-term investment that cannot be postponed. His administration is committed to laying a strong foundation for the development of superior human resources, with a focus on improving the quality of education and health.

The utilization of technology as an instrument to accelerate human resource development is also an important priority. With this targeted combination of strategies, Prabowo-Gibran is optimistic that Indonesia will be able to produce a generation ready to face global challenges and lead the nation towards greater progress.
