CIDISS. The amount of government attention to the outer regions is now a momentum for the whole region to change and to make progress. The central government pays great attention to infrastructure development, such as roads, railways, airports, and seaports. Some are done, done, and are in the planning.
Funds for our infrastructure development are currently limited, only 30 percent of the state budget. Therefore development in major cities the government seeks not to use the state budget funds. One way is to hold investors.
Infrastructure is an important element for the people of Indonesia. With infrastructure development it can reduce the gap among diverse Indonesian communities in this vast region. What is important is that the community must support it because the development undertaken by the government is beneficial to society.
Currently, the government uses the services of “independent appraisal” to calculate the appropriate compensation price at the time of land acquisition. In addition, the government also rewards local governments for local governments that have the best development plans.
It is intended to encourage each region, both at the provincial, district, and city levels, to compete to prepare RKPD documents better, consistent, comprehensive, measurable and workable.
Criteria and assessment indicators include economic growth and per capita regional gross domestic product (GRDP) growth, open unemployment rate and unemployment, poverty rate, Human Development Index (IPM), and gini ratio inequality as well as Regional Inequality Index.
Therefore, with the number of government efforts to build the region, it is natural that the community also tururt synergize to contribute to the region. The smallest thing a community can do to support development is by not damaging public facilities created by the government.
