CIDISS.CO After the smooth and safe implementation of the 2018 Election, there is one of our tasks together as a community, namely to remain vigilant of provocations and hoaxes, given the dynamics of the development of the post-election situation which tends to negatively potentially threaten national unity.
Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indonesian Pesantren Association (DPP IPI) KH Zaini Ahmad appreciated the course of the 2018 Simultaneous Regional Election which took place safely and peacefully.
Zaini Ahmad said, He was grateful that the simultaneous regional election this year was safe, peaceful, there was no friction or maneuver that resulted in divisions among all of us.
The candidates, supporters, and the community are very mature and wisely follow the results of the simultaneous elections in 2018.
The caregiver of Al-Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School, Pasuruan, East Java said, all this shows that our nation has grown up in democracy. We all certainly hope that there will be no division as feared so far. We pray that what is produced in the simultaneous Pilkada 2018 will bring the community more advanced and prosperous.
He also advised that after the election of the community to remain vigilant and calm and not easily consumed by incitement and fighting from provocateurs who were not happy with the peaceful situation that occurred today.
According to Kiai Zaini, conduciveness must be maintained by all parties until the KPU announces the official vote results for the 2018 regional election contestants simultaneously.
Kiai Zaini said, let us prove it to the world even though quick counts from various survey institutions have shown who the winner of the elections in various regions, but the situation in the community must remain cool calm. Candidates who are declared victorious in the version of quick count, we hope that they don’t win, the losers must also be knights. Let’s close the ranks again, keep the brotherhood as a fellow child. Because after competing, it’s time to reunite for our integrity.
In order to create peace and unity after the implementation of the 2018 Election, all elements of society are expected to be able to commit to upholding the values in Pancasila. Through the implementation of this matter, it is expected that there will be no division within the community that has different voices towards the leader pair you support. In addition, national reconciliation efforts are needed to strengthen national unity within the framework of the Republic of Indonesia.
