Presenting Many Experts, Moya Institue Holds Discussion on Realizing Indonesia Gold 2024

JAKARTA — In a discussion organized by the Moya Institute entitled ‘Proclamation: Opportunities and Challenges for Leaders Towards Golden Indonesia 2045’ it was said that the 2024 Election should be able to produce leaders who can carry out sustainable development.

Of course, if there are leaders who are able to do this, then it will be the key to realizing Indonesia Gold in the upcoming 2045.

Observer of Strategic and Global Issues, Prof. Imron Cotan revealed that one of the criteria for an ideal leader in the 2024 election is someone who is able to unite the nation because in facing global and domestic challenges it is very important to have unity.

“The leader must be able to build a national consensus and ensure that the entire Indonesian nation becomes part of the effort to achieve Indonesia Gold 2045,” said Prof. Imron Cotan.

Furthermore, according to him, the holding of the upcoming presidential election is the best momentum for the people to be able to choose and determine the nation’s future leaders who are truly committed to enforcing national unity.

For him, a leader must be able to build a bridge of communication between various community groups in the country and ensure that all voices of the people can be heard in every policy-making.

“The presidential election is a crucial moment in determining the direction of Indonesia in the next two decades,” said Prof. Imron Cotan.

“Voters should consider a candidate who not only has a clear international vision, but also a strong commitment to advancing domestic interests,” he continued.

On the same occasion, the Chancellor of Jenderal Achmad Yani University, Hikmahanto Juwana added that whoever will lead later must be someone who can continue to inflame the spirit and perspective that Indonesia is a super power country.

“In order to achieve this desire, whoever the presidential candidate has been determined by the KPU needs to have a commitment to reject foreign intervention that seeks to control us,” he said.

Meanwhile, Reform Politician Fahri Hamzah revealed that the future leader must indeed be able to continue President Jokowi’s entire development program so that there is continuity.

Not only that, but future leaders must also be able to ensure that the next goals of the country are something with an international perspective.

“This country is designed to be a global player. Shortly after the Proclamation, we became global players, for example with the Asian-African Conference which inspired the nations of the world,” he said.

“Don’t forget, one of the goals of this nation is global, namely to implement world order based on freedom, eternal peace and social justice,” said Fahri.

Executive Director of the Moya Institute, Hery Sucipto added that Indonesia must indeed be able to produce quality and superior national leaders in every era of government. (*)
