CIDISS. Ahead of the political year, there are already many institutions conducting studies on the progress of the government program. The 2018 election stages are already officially established by the General Election Commission (KPU) since June 2017.
In PKPU Number 1 Year 2017, Article 4 states the election stage consists of preparation stage and stages of implementation. Several preparation stages have been completed by KPU and in the not too distant future will enter the stage of implementation.
Improvement of the preparation system and the implementation of Pilkada Serentak 2018, cannot be separated from the polemic that emerged in Jakarta elections in 2017. In the elections of DKI 2017, the issue of sara becomes an important thing raised by one of the supporters of the candidates.
For 2018 constituent 2018, of course the government has prepared precise steps to dispel the possibility of developing the same issues as the implementation of elections DKI 2017.
The impact of identity politics is expected to be unacceptable in the 2018 election and 2019 election. For, if the people run democracy correctly then the identity politics will not arise. Differences in Indonesia are a source of strength for the nation. Because, these differences can be complementary between one area with other areas.
