Covid-19 has not yet completely departed from Indonesia, but the curve of Corona patient statistics has begun to decline. More and more patients are recovering and doing activities as usual. The government has worked hard to deal with this disease very well.

Corona disease haunts all people in Indonesia. They become paranoid and afraid to leave the house, because there is a Covid-19 virus that is floating and invisible. The government is very concerned about its people and to protect them, making some rules to control so that Corona does not spread to remote areas.

Among other things, the community must be willing to stay at home and do work to study at home. When traveling you must wear a mask. There are also large-scale social restrictions that accompany physical distancing rules. All this is done for mutual security.

Indonesian people are also satisfied with the government’s actions in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. This is the result of an international survey from Blackbox Research, a survey agency based in Singapore. As many as 70 percent of survey respondents who are Indonesian citizens feel the Indonesian government is very responsive and acted swiftly in overcoming the spread of Corona.

Conversely, for other survey respondents who came from Japan, Russia, and several other countries, claimed to be less satisfied with the actions of their government. Because it is considered less fast in handling patients. As a result more and more people are contracting the Covid-19 virus.

Indonesia even ranks 7th from other countries in the world in dealing with the Covid-19 virus. While in first place is the People’s Republic of China. If Indonesia is ranked, that means it’s good enough in dealing with Corona patients. It is also hoped that the Covid-19 virus will soon leave the country, because the number of recovering patients is increasing.

The achievement of the Indonesian government was achieved thanks to several regulations that were implemented, since there were patients who were detected as having Corona. Among other things, suggestions for maintaining cleanliness by washing hands with running water and soap, and carrying a hand sanitizer when traveling. Every house should also be sprayed with disinfectants to make it sterile. While people who have gone out of town or abroad must do independent isolation for at least 14 days.

If anyone is exposed to the Covid-19 virus, you can stay at the designated hospital for free. So he is not afraid to have to pay exorbitant fees for hospitalization and buying medicine. A swab test to find out whether or not Corona is affected can also be done with an easier procedure.

Medical personnel who handle patients are provided with a special place to stay at the Athlete’s House and several other buildings, so that it is more sterile and does not spread the virus to his family at home. They also get intensive from the government, aside from their regular salary. This is done to appreciate the hard work of doctors and nurses who are willing to sacrifice physically and mentally when caring for and treating Corona patients.

The government has also provided assistance in the form of personal protective equipment such as hazmat clothes, masks and other medical equipment to hospitals that treat Corona patients. This aid package is also distributed to other hospitals outside Jabodetabek, so that it is fair and equitable. This assistance is a distribution from the government of the People’s Republic of China which was taken directly by Minister Prabowo Subianto.

Indonesia has been able to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus so it will not spread to more people. The government overcame this pandemic by making PSBB regulations, physical distancing, stay at home, and school at home. The success of this government step is also due to the people of Indonesia who are orderly and obey the rules, because they realize that this is made for the sake of mutual safety.
