Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – The haze cover in Central Kalimantan province influence significant effects to the citizen.
The impact of haze not only about health but also the haze gives impact to the harvest. It’s because the plants do not has sun light enough and covered by haze.
Chief of Agriculture, plantation, information organizer and Food maintenance board of Palangka Raya, Ikhwansyah Ssos MAP, like quote in Kalteng Pos, Sunday (21/9/2015) said that the sun light influent to the quality of harvest, especially tomato and chilly.
“No guarantee, without sun light, the result of the plant will have good quality,” said Him.
On the other hand, Ikhwansyah assumes that Palangka Raya has good quality of harvest, such as tomato, chilly and other vegetable. But, haze will give the lower quality of the harvest result.
Like the other, their board also hopes there will be rainfall soon and sunny day. Then plant has enough sun light and plant will grow luxuriantly. (*)
