Aceh – The National Sports Week (PON) XXI held in Aceh has officially concluded, but the memories of the creative products from the Young Acehnese Superior and Great (AMANAH) continue to leave a strong mark. The AMANAH community enlivened the event by creatively showcasing typical Acehnese souvenirs through the provided booth, attracting the attention of many visitors.
One of the visitors at the AMANAH booth, Nasya Nazmah, expressed her admiration for the various products presented. According to him, AMANAH has successfully created youthful-style products while still maintaining the distinctive characteristics of Aceh.
“I am very happy to visit the AMANAH booth because there are many cool items here. The products offered are typical of Aceh. There are Acehnese motifs, and there is something about Malahayati,” said Nasya.
The batik motif, the zero kilometer monument in Sabang, and Acehnese noodle cuisine applied to various products, such as drinkware, book covers, fans, and keychains, enhance the distinctive impression of Aceh.
Nasya added that these designs make AMANAH products very suitable as souvenirs. The tote bag and bracelet have become her favorites, with designs she finds very appealing and different from the others.
“If I had to choose my favorite, since I’m a girl, I like the bracelet, but I also love the tote bag. The design is really appealing,” Nasya expressed.
In addition to creative products, AMANAH also offers local MSME products from Aceh, such as traditional food and beverages. This initiative, according to Nasya, is evidence that MSMEs in Aceh are increasingly thriving.
“This initiative is very good because it accommodates the youth of Aceh so that they can create and are also facilitated to become outstanding and excellent young individuals in the future,” Nasya emphasized.
In addition to Nasya, many visitors who are part of the PON contingent from various regions in Indonesia are making those items as souvenirs.
Although PON XXI has concluded, the recognition of AMANAH’s contributions remains unforgettable. President Joko Widodo, through the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK), Muhadjir Effendy, expressed high appreciation to all parties involved in the successful implementation of PON XXI Aceh-Sumut 2024, including the AMANAH community. Because support in promoting Acehnese culture and empowering local SMEs has become one of the key elements in the success of the event.
As a program initiated by the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) under the instruction of President Jokowi, AMANAH plays a crucial role in empowering the youth of Aceh. This program provides tangible support for MSME actors, the creative industry, and young people, with the aim of boosting Aceh’s economy and channeling the creativity of the region’s youth.
