It seems that the riots that occurred in Papua the other day were felt to be increasingly widespread and widened everywhere. In fact, the latest news says that riots are back in Jayapura. Seeing this kind of condition is certainly very sad. The news has been conducive to the atmosphere is now heating up again. Nothing else is the result of irresponsible perpetrators.
Acts of racism some time ago the impact was still not abated. There is still another long tail which indicates there are other parties related to the main perpetrators of racism. Namely, the arrival of a woman named Tri Susanti as a coordinator of the action when she went to a student hostel in Papua. He was also suspected of a Parta Gerindra Regional Legislative Candidate. However, the details of the incident still look gray.
Tri Susanti said that his arrival only wanted to defend the red and white flag which was torn and thrown away. He denied if there was a siege in the hostel. However, back to the main issue, namely the existence of racism against Papuan students.
The police have now officially set Tri Susanti as the main perpetrator of racism in Surabaya. Determination of the suspect is based on the examination of 16 witnesses and 7 other expert witnesses. Among other things, Witness Criminal, Language, ITE anthropology and Sociology.
What is interesting is that the Gerindra DPRD Candidate is considered to have other political objectives. But it was strongly denied by Tri Susansti. He only felt AMP (Papuan Student Alliance) had rejected the red and white flag. He even expressed his intention to be in the front row if someone tried to divide RI.
He firmly stated that he did not represent any mass organizations or parties. He also added that the complexity of this case was judged by the many issues that were spread to the public. However, it seems that this problem will be followed up by the authorities who are more authorized.
More than that is the overall impact that is clearly able to ignite riots by the people of Papua. .
Instead of quelling emotions, the chaos in Surabaya seemed to be fueling riots in Manokwari and a number of cities in Jayapura. Even more imprinted was the existence of a New York treaty in 1962. Which was signed by Indonesia, the Netherlands and the people of Papua. The contents of the agreement state that if West Irian (Papua) must be submitted to Indonesia.
This can be concluded if Papua has gained a place and indeed is the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, Dead Price! Not only today, even our predecessors have fought tooth and nail so that Papua will soon become part of Indonesia. Do not let the old story repeat itself like East Timor. Therefore the government with all its body and soul and all elements of the community continue to voice Papua An integral part of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.
It is unfortunate if there are unscrupulous divisions of the country with personal or group goals. It feels like the world is truly like a theater. On one hand the government is desperately defending Papua so that it remains a part of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. On the other hand, however, the hoax is boiled fried until it is ignited to try to break the long-established union.
Acts of racism deemed immoral began to fill the quiet streets of Manokwari. The burning of buildings that should have been protected instead became easy targets for mass anger.
The state security apparatus is struggling to reduce the atmosphere to the point that is conducive. However, again the hoaxes spread. Is this hoax like this planned to continue to stir up riots so that it gets hotter?
Whatever the reason, no one justifies this incident, right? Because again the people are harmed. Some parties who may be unrelated may become victims who cause traumatic.
Staying alert to what is likely is natural. But it is better to keep investigating all forms of news that are spread by the mass media, social as well as other issues. Although it seems trivial, in fact this is the most effective action to fortify themselves from hoaxes that seemed to hit themselves.
In conclusion, Papua is a fixed price! Whatever happens Papua remains an integral part of the Republic of Indonesia. Not only as a citizen but an important part of a unity of Indonesia. Given the struggle of the heroes who are willing to die for the creation of the unity of this country. Hopefully things can return to normal soon. So as to create conditions that are safe, comfortable and prosperous.
