The community appreciates the corona vaccination which will begin in early 2021. Because they don’t have to spend a penny. The public is also asked to cooperate with the government and health workers, by agreeing to vaccinate all members of their family. In order to form herd immunity and end the pandemic as soon as possible.
When the pandemic has not yet ended, the presence of the corona vaccine is like a shining light in the dark. Because it can prevent many people from being infected with Covid-19. The public was happy when 3 million doses of Sinovac vaccine arrived in Indonesia in December 2020. Meanwhile, the vaccination is scheduled to start in January 2021.
The national corona vaccination held by the government is highly appreciated by the public. Apart from being free, the government is preparing this program seriously. First, the priority of giving vaccines to health workers is very precise. Because those who are prone to contracting corona at the hospital. When the doctor is infected and has OTG status, many patients can be infected, so he needs to be vaccinated first.
Second, the priority of vaccination in the red zone makes the community relieved, because there are so many areas that have many corona patients. When they get the vaccine first, they will be immune to the Covid-19 virus and the number of people infected is drastically reduced. However, the government has also promised to distribute vaccines to all parts of Indonesia, including those as far away as Papua.
Third, the Sinovac vaccines that have come are not sufficient, because the total population of Indonesia is more than 200 million people. However, people do not need to worry, because there will be a further 140 million doses of Sinovac vaccine. We should not be surprised, why only came the bulk (raw material)? Because labs and pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia are able to make their own.
When we are able to make our own vaccines from these raw materials, it will speed up the completion process. After being tested by BPOM and the issuance of a halal fatwa, then there is a next step, namely waiting for the UAE. UEA is a temporary vaccine use permit, because the process of passing BPOM standards is relatively long, while the need for vaccination is urgent.
However, people should not worry when only temporary permits are issued, because this vaccine is guaranteed safe. The proof is from the thousands of people who volunteered at the end of 2020, no one contracted the corona, including West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil. The manufacturing process of the Sinovac vaccine has also been supervised by experts from Indonesia, so that its quality is guaranteed.
This vaccine also has a halal status, because it does not contain pork gelatin. When it was still in the development stage, representatives from the MUI had directly monitored it. Even though the MUI fatwa has not yet been issued, vice president KH Ma’ruf Amin has guaranteed that the corona vaccine is safe and lawful.
When people get their turn for vaccines, after receiving an SMS, they can immediately go to the injection. Don’t even believe the hoaxes circulating about this vaccine. Hoaxes that are widely heard are the syringes used when the corona vaccination can disappear into the body.
Yet how could a needle that big get in? After all, we have been vaccinated many times (eg hepatitis A and B vaccines, MMR, etc.), and at that time the needle did not sink 100% into the skin. The hoax is ridiculous, and underestimates the ability of medical personnel.
The next hoax is when someone says that the corona vaccine can change human DNA. In fact, the process of changing DNA is very complicated, and cannot be changed only when a vaccine is injected. Don’t be easy to believe when there is negative news about vaccines circulating, because it could be fake.
Let’s welcome the national corona vaccination with joy. This vaccine is free and people will be healthy and corona free. So that the pandemic conditions will end soon. Don’t easily believe in hoaxes about the covid-19 vaccine, and check the truth first.
