Beginning in 2020, radicalism apparently has come to the attention of the government because it is considered very unsettling the community. The Radikala Islamic Movement is flourishing in a political context. The ideology seemed to try to rise up against the nation state by making Islam a shield, both on a global scale such as the Khilafah Islamiyah and on a national scale such as Daulah Islamiyah.

Radical movements in Indonesia are often in the name of religion and this has been going on since the Middle Ages. In the case of terrorism, for example. Because the perpetrators are Muslim, a stigma arises in society that terrorism is synonymous with Islam. But actually the stigma is wrong, because Islam does not teach violence let alone hurt all.

Region III Inspector General Inspector General of the Ministry of Religion Hilmi Muhammadiyah explained that radicalism in Indonesia actually continues to roll like a ball. Its presence seems to continue to undermine the sense of nationalism, unity and unity, and cause unrest in society.

So that radicalism does not continue to spread, all elements of society must block this understanding so that it is not misled. Because not only the general public is prone to radicalism, there are not a few followers of this understanding from the educated circles. This certainly must be a particular concern for educators in order to always provide understanding about national insight.

Even if some of its members die, the radical group will consider the deceased as someone who longs for heaven.

Economic problems turned out to also be a cause for a person to immediately believe in radical figures because they are considered to be able to bring drastic changes to life. In addition, the education or teaching of religion which is wrong by educators by giving wrong teachings is also a source of cause for people to become radical.

If radicals teach violence, it is certainly not in accordance with the teachings of Islam in Indonesia, because iIslamslam has the meaning of peace, and Islamic Da’wah aims to spread love and kindness, not an attitude of mutual hatred and hurt.
