Thousands of Security Forces secure Asian Para Games 2018

CIDISS. Organizing the performance of persons with disabilities, the 2018 Asian Para Games just counted the days. The security forces are now busy carrying out the security of the implementation of Asian Para Games 2018 by deploying around 9,800 personnel from the TNI, Polri and Satpol PP to secure the international event.

The Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police, Comr. Gen. Ari Dono, said that the number of personnel was approximately 9,800, this was a combination between the Indonesian National Police, the TNI and the Satpol PP, and later INAPGOC would assist the volunteers. In this event the name of Indonesia is at stake. Thus, his side will make every effort to secure sports activities for the disabled.

He said, of course we strive for this activity because all eyes look to Indonesia, now we see how unfortunate, but we appear again in the world, on the glass screen news that Indonesia is ready to carry out the Asian Para Games 2018 activities whose activities are only held in Jakarta and Sentul, Bogor, West Java.

For information, the activities of the Asian Para Games have begun on 6 October 2018 and will end on 13 October 2018 in Jakarta. Indonesia is hosting the third edition of the Asian Para Games this year. This sports party will be attended by around 3,000 athletes and officials from 43 participating countries.

The security forces’ efforts are a preventive step from the government to minimize things that can disrupt the implementation of the 2018 Asian Para Games. Therefore, we as citizens must help to be safe and successful. Without good cooperation between all parties, it is impossible for the Asian Para Games 2018 to be successful like the 2018 Asian Games.
