The optimism of Jokowi – Maufuf’s victory began to be felt in the Veranda of Mecca. Two regional heads in Aceh stressed that they would win the presidential and vice presidential candidate number 01 Jokowi – Ma’ruf Amin, in his area in the 2019 election. Both were Deputy Regent of South Aceh Tengku Amran and Mayor of Subulussalam Meurah Sakti.
The statement of support was conveyed by Tengku Amran and Meurah Sakti, in the presence of the Secretary of the Jokowi National Campaign Team (TKN) – Ma’ruf Amin, Hasto Krisyanto. At that time, Hasto was conducting a gathering with the people of South Aceh, on Lhok Rukam Beach, Tapaktuan, South Aceh.
Deputy Regent of South Aceh Tengku Amran, invited the people of South Aceh, to be equally supportive and the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair 01, Joko Widodo – Ma’ruf Amin. The Chairperson of the South Aceh District Nangroe Aceh (PNA) Party claimed that he had ordered his cadres to win incumbent candidates.
He also prayed that PDI-PD Aceh DPD chairman Karimun Usman was elected as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives. “I express my gratitude to the Chairman of the Aceh PDI Perjuangan DPD Mr. Karimun, for supporting me when I advanced as Deputy Regent of South Aceh. Moreover, PDI Perjuangan does not collect dowry at all, “he said.
To Hasto, Amran assessed that the development of the Jokowi era was good, but he asked President Jokowi to solve the annual flood problems that often occur in his area. “Hopefully the two-period leadership can find a solution,” he said.
Amran also found that there were parts of the crossing roads from North Sumatra to the damaged South Aceh. He also hopes that the central government can improve the connecting road so that the economy of South Aceh can increase.
“In South Aceh there is also a pioneer airport that should be managed by the ATR aircraft, but until now no aircraft have landed there,” he said.
“We have made an announcement that the PNA supports Jokowi – Ma’ruf,” said Irwandi as Chairperson of the Nangroe Aceh Party (PNA)
Irwandi explained the reason why the PNA supported Jokowi and Ma’ruf Amin in contesting the 2019 presidential election, because, said Irwandi, in the 2014 presidential election, the PNA had also supported Jokowi.
“Because 2014 supports it too. That is, I know him (Jokowi) has been around since Solo and he has worked in Aceh for more than 3 years, “he explained.
According to him, Jokowi already knew the ins and outs of Aceh. In fact, Irwandi considers Jokowi in the first period to be quite good.
“Because I know and already have performance this year, even though it’s not top but it’s pretty good,” he said
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Subulussalam Meurah Sakti said, President Jokowi’s leadership provided much progress in his area. Especially, the construction of roads in western Fakfak connecting eight regions.
Sakti also reminded the community, to live in harmony and peace, not to hurt each other. As mayor, Sakti allowed the construction of a church in Subulussalam, which shows evidence of diversity in Aceh.
On that occasion, Hasto Kristiyanto was accompanied by special envoy KH Ma’ruf Amin, KH Lukmanul Hakim, KH Ma’ruf Amin Habib Sholeh Team Al Muhdar, Head of the Islamic Studies Institute Bung Karno, Ustad Ali Assegaf, and PDI-P Candidate Zuhairi Misrawi.
Aceh is a place that has an impression for Jokowi, Hasto Kristiyantoro has also revealed that Aceh is a “second home” for Jokowi’s presidential candidates. Because, Jokowi once pursued his career in Aceh.
He said, Jokowi considered Aceh to be very important even though the number of voters in the province in the April 17 2019 election would later be classified as small compared to the islands of Java and Sumatra.
On the other hand, the westernmost province is a gateway to progress, the spread of Islam from Aceh, even once to perform the Hajj, it was from Aceh, so that spirit was built.
Hasto also explained that Jokowi deeply absorbed all the values of the heroism of the Acehnese people who were so extraordinary, friendly and friendly. “Our target will only be discussed after we have traveled around Aceh and met with the community and figures, then you will set the target.
At that time Jokowi – JK only won 45.61 percent of the vote. If you lose to pair Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Uno who avoided with 54.39 percent in Aceh.
Ma’ruf is optimistic that Jokowi and himself will take over the sound superiority in the upcoming Province of Aceh in the 2019 Presidential Election.
Ma’ruf said that Aceh was well-known for its religious area and that many Nahdlatul Ulama cadres and santri were distributed in the area,
Therefore, he would use his political capital as an NU cadre and a figure representing pesantren to gain votes in Aceh.
Ma’ruf also said that he used a strategy of approaching Islamic scholars and community leaders to achieve Aceh’s victory. He claimed that he would be surprised if Jokowi and himself lost again in the area.
In this case Jokowi really understands how to maneuver in politics, indeed in the 2014 election Jokowi had to admit the victory of his opponent at that time, but now the conditions are different, the campaign team is more solid and supported by government programs that are considered pro-people.
