We Want Peacefull Campaign

CIDISS – The momentum of the political year will soon be rolling, starting from the elections simultaneously on June 27, 2018 until the 2019 election. To date, all political parties have drafted their respective strategies to win their candidates in the 2019 election. The 2019 election is also the benchmark of the election participants to face new election system that will be used in the next presidential and legislative election.

In carrying out presidential and legislative elections, candidates must campaign to attract the hearts and concerns of potential voters. Political campaign is an organized effort aimed at influencing the process of voter decision making and political campaigns always referring to campaigns in general elections.

The message from the campaign is the prominence of the idea that the candidate or candidate wants to share something with the voters. The message consists of several points and talks about policy issues. These points will be summarized and often repeated to create a lasting impression on the voters. In many elections, candidates for political parties will always try to make other candidates or candidates “without a message” relating to their policies or try to transfer to talks that are not related to policy or program points.

Most campaign strategies attempt to bring down candidates or other candidates who prefer to keep messages broadly in order to attract the most potential voters. A message that is too narrow will be able to alienate candidates or candidates with their voters.

Therefore, it is expected that the elections in 2019 will proceed peacefully and safely. Despite the government’s readiness, community participation is urgently needed for the success of the 2019 election. For example, it is to report on money politics by candidates for presidential election that will undermine democracy parties in 2019 elections, especially when they do the campaign.
