Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – The haze disaster in Central Kalimantan cause the number of Acute respiratory infection sufferer is high.
Task force for handle the forest and land fire reported, along September 2015, there are 15.528 sufferers of acute respiratory infection disease.
The number of sufferers of acute respiratory infection disease spread in 14 regencies/cities along September 2015. The highest number is in Palangka Raya (3.345 sufferer), the second place is Kotawaringin Timur regency (2.523 sufferer), Barito Selatan (1.739 sufferer), Kotawaringin Barat (1.661 sufferer), Kapuas (1.163 sufferer), Katingan (920 sufferer), Pulang Pisau (909 sufferer), Barito Timur (897 sufferer), Seruyan (742 sufferer), Gunung Mas (536 sufferer), Sukamara (345 sufferer), Murung Raya (339 sufferer), Lamandau (145 sufferer), and Barito Utara (264 sufferer).
According to Marianitha, Chief of Biro Public Relation and Protocol, regional government of Central Kalimantan, task force has done many activities, such as health service, health socialization, and gives free mask. “We have accepted help medicine from the ministry for Health and Kimia Farma,” said Her (*)
