CIDISS – illiteracy is things that will wipe out by government. Then, many parties are also help to wipe out the illiteracy in the society.
Besides that, increase the reading interest in society is also campaign by many parties. Such in Pangkalan Bun, Kotawaringin Barat regency, Baca Aksara community present to build reading community in society.
The people interest is high to the Baca Aksara community. Starting from children till mothers follows the activity. In the activity, people or participants give freedom to read the book that brings by community. Moreover, people also gets lesson speaking English.
The activity of baca community is idea from office of regional library and archive (KPAD) Kotawaringin Barat by the theme “Ramadan – Kelas Berbagi on The Street” on last sunday, (12/6/2016).
The activity is conducted on Karang Anyar village RT 22 Mendawai, Kotawaringin Barat regency. Even using wood house ex teacher official house, but the people interest to get new knowledge is quite high.
The reading and learning activity is conducted once a week.
Chief of KPAD Kotawaringin Barat, Safwan, invite to all citizen of Pangkalan Bun and around become volunteer, donate book and sharing knowledge in Baca Aksara community.
