CIDISS – Much people of Indonesia often buy clothes import second from abroad. The shops which sell import clothes never quite of buyer. Meanwhile the clothes have been sentence as forbidden commodity to community. It is because the unsafe from disease contain.
Much warning from government agency especially healthy board, the health board never stop announce the dangerous of buying the clothes import and also the possibility of disease contain from abroad.
In other hand, the clothes do not list in import thing that enters in Central Kalimantan. According to BPS (Statistic Bureau Agency) Central Kalimantan,the clothes is not import direct to Central Kalimantan.
Sukardi, Chief of BPS Central Kalimantan stated that the clothes are from harbor in Jakarta, Balikpapan, Surabaya or Makassar, and then carry to Central Kalimantan. In result, the clothes do not list in direct import of Central Kalimantan.
He admitted surprised because people like to buy the clothes import. And he hopes the health agency keep aware to the regulation. (*)
