The party of democracy by choosing each champ is over. There is no need to be carried away by emotion and resentment towards those who win. This is democracy. Losing-winning becomes the standard. There is no ‘draw’ in this case. Because if there is a ‘draw’ there will definitely be a ‘rebroadcast’.
Therefore, returning to work, profession and business, as before, it feels wiser. Because maybe, there were almost 2 years of socialization until the campaign of the two candidates for President and Vice President was colored by: opinion war, cold war, fierce war, spread hoaxes, formal and informal debates, disputes, hostility (even in family or friendship, because of different choices), kidnapping, even until the last clash of demonstrators clashed and then called rioters because they wanted to force their way into Bawaslu, and dared to confront the authorities, and eventually ended in death and family suffering.
The Indonesian people should return to live peacefully, safely and peacefully, and organize and establish community life, which harmonizes side by side with each other, in the frame of Unity in Diversity.
As fellow children of the nation, we should be able to stare far in the future, in welcoming the development of a just and prosperous society, from generation to generation, and together to make it happen, as the ideals of our beloved Unitary Republic of Indonesia. Let’s chase the lags of countries that have advanced before.
