The Ministry of Communication and Information invites all leaders of the mass media to participate in the direct review of the preparations for the G20 Summit in Bali on November 15-16.
The Chairman of the Editor-in-Chief Forum (Pemred) was also present to directly review the readiness of the G20 Summit in Bali. According to him, various preparations have gone smoothly and are ready to hold the upcoming G20 Summit in Bali.
“The government’s preparations have been carried out long ago, both preparing ministerial level meetings, as well as physical or infrastructure preparations,” said Chairman of the Pemred Forum, Arifin Asydhad on the sidelines of a visit to Bali.
Arifin also hopes that the G20 Summit in Bali can bring positive things to Indonesia. He also believes that with careful preparations made by both the government and elements of society, the G20 Summit in Bali will run smoothly.
“I think the peak of the G20 summit will be relatively smooth,” said Arifin
The visit of the editors’ forum at the preparation of the G20 Summit in Bali led by the Director General of Information and Public Communication of the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, Usman Kansong, was attended by at least 30 editor-in-chief to directly review the readiness of the G20 Summit.
The Chief Editor of Katadata Yura Syahrul also said the same thing. He believes that Indonesia as the host of the G20 Summit can be a good host for all delegates.
“So far the government is quite focused and ready to be a good host for the delegations of countries that control the world economy,” said Yura.
Yura thinks that the success of holding the G20 Summit in Indonesia can be a reflection for Indonesia in the future because it has succeeded in being a host who is able to raise big issues. According to Yura, this can be a separate value for Indonesia in the eyes of the leaders of the G20 countries.
“We still need further proof of this great work. So that later Indonesia will be remembered for its success in bringing big issues to the attention of the world, in addition to its successful implementation,” added Yura.
