This was explained by the Head of BIN General Pol ( Purn ) Budi Gunawan at the National Coordination Meeting Forkopimda 2023 at SICC, Bogor Regency, West Java, Tuesday (17/1/2023).
The year 2023 will be haunted by the threat of recession and inflation whose effects will reach regions and be felt by household economic groups both in cities, districts and remote villages, said Budi Gunawan.

For Indonesia itself, the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar has weakened due to the alarming global conditions due to inflation in several countries in the world.
