Rampant corruption has exacerbated social inequality, damaged the governance system, and hampered economic and social progress in Indonesia. However, there is new hope amidst efforts to eradicate corruption in Indonesia with the presence of the Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka governments. President Prabowo has shown a strong commitment to eradicating corruption without discrimination.

As a president and also a figure with long experience in politics and the military, Prabowo Subianto is known to have a strong determination to lead with integrity. This is what makes President Prabowo continue to strive to eradicate corruption and fight all forms of abuse of power. President Prabowo has shown his commitment to building a transparent and clean system, including in terms of budget management.

The Prabowo-Gibran government strictly enforces the law against anyone involved in corrupt practices and ensures that no one is immune from the law, be it high officials, businessmen, or parties with great influence in government. Fair and impartial law enforcement is key to creating a sense of justice among the people.

In Prabowo’s administration, supervision of corruption practices is carried out comprehensively. There is no tolerance for officials who are proven to have committed corruption, regardless of their background. In certain cases, legal steps taken include not only criminal sanctions, but also freezing of assets and returning state funds that have been misappropriated.

President Prabowo Subianto said state officials should not be involved in corrupt practices and will not hesitate to take firm action against officials involved in criminal acts of corruption. This was done by President Prabowo so that Indonesia can achieve its ideals as a country free from corruption.

In this context, the pair Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as future leaders of the country have an important role in realizing a fairer and clean Indonesia from corruption practices. According to him, corruption is a systematic crime that not only harms state finances but also plunges society into an endless cycle of poverty.

Eradicating corruption has become one of the top priorities. President Prabowo wants an active role from all elements of society to jointly avoid corrupt practices, be it government officials, members of the House of Representatives, businessmen, or ordinary people. Anyone who violates must be given sanctions commensurate with their actions.

Head of the Presidential Communications Office, Hasan Nasbi said that President Prabowo continues to be committed to carrying out his duties well, including in efforts to eradicate corruption in Indonesia. Hasan explained that President Prabowo consistently reminded the importance of integrity in his government. Strict law enforcement, according to President Prabowo, will be a priority without discrimination.

The performance of law enforcement officers at the beginning of President Prabowo’s administration in eradicating a number of corruption cases in Indonesia deserves appreciation. This is because it proves that President Prabowo’s commitment to eradicating corruption is impartial and not just  lip service  .

Political observer from the Nurjaman Center for Indonesian Democracy, Jajat Nurjaman, said that President Prabowo’s success in eradicating corruption has been proven by the disclosure of a number of corruption cases carried out by the Police, the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK).

According to him, President Prabowo’s leadership style is not in doubt, especially since corruption cases are likened to acute diseases. Therefore, through direct support from President Prabowo, the performance of law enforcement officers is expected to be more optimal as has been the public’s hope so far.

Jajat assessed that the emergence of pros and cons related to figures who were arrested for alleged corruption is a natural thing, even not a few who associate it with political reasons. On the other hand, if seen carefully considering that this corruption disease has become worse, this is the right moment for the public to also provide full support to the government and law enforcement officers so that they can be braver in revealing various corruption cases to the root.

According to him, it is important for all parties to play a role as well as the courage and firmness of law enforcement officers in uncovering and prosecuting a number of corruption cases. The public’s great hopes for law enforcement officers today can be realized with real work results. If the leader is good and brave, it is not impossible that the shared hope that corruption cases in the country can be reduced significantly is not just a dream.

The success of the Prabowo-Gibran government in eradicating corruption without discrimination is a step forward in Indonesia’s long journey towards a cleaner and more transparent government. By strengthening the oversight system, enforcing the law firmly, and building an anti-corruption culture, they have shown that their commitment to eradicating corruption is not just political rhetoric, but is also reflected in real action. Of course, major challenges remain, but with the determination and steps that have been taken, this government provides new hope for Indonesia to be free from the corrupt practices that have long hampered progress.
