It is very important that there is synergy so that it is always improved, especially from the central government, related ministries and institutions to the local government to be able to actually implement a series of Job Creation Laws to ensure that the interests of society can be carried out.
The central government together with various relevant stakeholders, including many related Ministries and Institutions as well as the Local Government (Pemda) are continuing to work on improving the Job Creation Law so that it can really have an impact on all people in Indonesia.
For information, the previous existence of the Job Creation Law was also an effort by all elements to improve the Constitutional Court (MK) Decision Number 91/PUU/U-VXII/2020 regarding efforts to formally review Law (UU) Number 11 Year 2020 concerning Job Creation against the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, which was rejected and it was considered that the Ciptaker Law at that time was conditionally unconstitutional so that its application had to be suspended temporarily.
However, other problems actually occur, because precisely the existence of a legal vacuum can actually have a bad impact on many things. Mainly at that time, the economy was experiencing a state of total uncertainty accompanied by global dynamics, then there was also the threat of high inflation rates so that in fact the economy in Indonesia could not stop at all.
Responding to this, then the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Joko Widodo (Jokowi) gave direct directions to local government leaders (Pemda) as well as ministries and other related institutions, namely directives from the Head of State are in the form of instruments that can be used by Regional Governments. local people to take advantage of domestic products, the aim of which is to drive the regional economy.
With the arrival of business actors from within the country and the need for raw materials, they are able to become part of a series of orchestrations in an effort to control inflation because dependence on foreign exchange will decrease.
For this reason, it is also very important that socialization is continuously encouraged in order to continue to synchronize rules in implementing and also improving the Job Creation Law in society, along with all derivative regulations in it, both carried out by the central government itself and also carried out by regional governments.
In this regard, the Secretary of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Socialization of the Job Creation Law, Arif Budimanta explained that behind all the problems regarding business licensing, in fact, if everything can be done properly and driven automatically like the government’s plan, namely by cutting all existing bureaucracy by using the use of digital space, inflation can actually be maintained so that the economy will also continue to move.
Of course, when the economy in society can continue to move, it will also have serious implications for job creation and will also be able to reduce poverty levels in society, which is actually also the basis for why the government continues to make structural reforms in the implementation of the Copyright Law. Work.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Industry and Trade Office of North Sumatra (North Sumatra) Province, Aspan Sofian said that in order to create and be able to achieve the objectives of the Job Creation Law, namely efforts to continue to create jobs, including protecting MSME actors and also in the future able to absorb the widest possible workforce by continuing to take into account developments in regional and national progress, the fulfillment of the right to work and also the fulfillment of a decent life is a very important aspect of human development.
Apart from that, various parties also continue to push for the implementation and application of the Job Creation Law to involve all parties and also continue to pay attention to all aspects so that in the future it will make it easier to carry out business licensing for the community.
With the convenience of obtaining business permits in the community by creating structural reforms that are no longer complicated and also minimizing the practice of extortion which has so far continued to haunt business actors, it will also have an impact on investors’ sense of business comfort so that Investment activity in Indonesia can also continue.
Another form of integration carried out by the central government with other local Regional Governments (Pemda) is so that the Regional Governments are able to continue to maintain a climate of business competition for MSME players and retail businesses in their respective regions.
In one of the articles, namely Article 174 of the Omnibus Law on the Job Creation Law itself, it has added a rule regarding the relationship between the central government and regional governments. Then in Article 176, the Regional Government is required to provide licensing services in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations.
So, it is very clear that inclusive cooperation and integration of various stakeholders, starting from the central government, related ministries and institutions to local government parties, is very important in helping the implementation of the Job Creation Law in the field for the benefit of society.
