The Government will make such a diplomatic note of protest to Malaysia because it is often violated border with frequently-entered Indonesia in Nunukan, North Borneo.
“We will make a diplomatic note to the Malaysian government about violations of the border area by entering Indonesian territory in Nunukan,” said Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security, Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno in Nunukan.
He said that this is related to the number of times a fleet of war Malaysia, both sea and air unmanned entering Indonesian territory in Nunukan were allegedly deliberately, without permission, during 2015.
Regarding the issue, he said, will be submitted to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Retno Marsudi) to undertake diplomatic efforts with the Malaysian government.
The first step for this is to tighten up the monitoring and maintenance of land borders, sea, and air, by placing aircraft “base camp” in Tarakan City Air Base Platform, North Borneo.
