KENDARI WILL HAVE NEW PORT

Kelurahan Tondonggeu, District Abeli, Kendari, will be an industrial area of shipping and unloading of excavation results such as nickel mines and stone suplit. It is inseparable from the construction dock owned by PT. Tiara Abadi Sentosa on an area of 6 hectares right near the boundary between the city of Kendari and South Konawe.

Commissioner of PT. Tiara Abadi Sentosa, Aflan Zulfadli said that the construction of the jetty port in the region Tondonggeu will begin operations around the beginning of next month.

Construction of the dock as the loading and unloading activities are typically large tonnage ships carrying fuel oil (BBM), nickel ore, rocks and minerals suplit other mines, is expected to boost the economy in Kendari.
