Allegations of village funds being used to assist the Papuan Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST), made all security forces from the joint personnel move quickly to conduct an investigation and immediately hunt down a number of Village Heads in Bumi Cenderawasih regarding this matter.
Recently, there has been an issue stating that there was an allegation that KST Papua received disbursement of funds from the village fund, which of course made the security forces immediately focus their attention on the investigation.
The Papua Regional Police (Polda) immediately moved very quickly to respond to this issue. Unmitigated, the Head of the Papua Regional Police, Inspector General of Police Mathius D Fahiri stated that his party had examined a number of Village Heads in Indonesia’s easternmost province.
He revealed that the Resort Police (Polres) had conducted an investigation into the alleged distribution of village funds to assist activities and also finance a number of operations from the separatist group.
Of course, if it is proven that there is involvement of village heads or even anyone in an effort to distribute village funds that help the movement of KST Papua, then the entire security apparatus from joint personnel consisting of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) will immediately take firm action by prosecuting anyone without discrimination.
It cannot be denied, it turns out that from the results of a number of investigations that have been carried out, currently there are already several village heads in Bumi Cenderawasih who have been detained and are currently in the process of being examined by a team of investigators regarding the alleged use of village funds given to terrorist groups in there.
Not only in Nduga Regency, but there are also several areas that continue to be the focus of attention from the security forces so that all levels must be able to explore and immediately carry out strict legal proceedings if there is indeed an indication of channeling village funds to KST Papua.
The existence of village funds provided by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) and distributed to all villages or villages in all corners of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) including in Papua, should be able to be carried out to assist the government’s efforts to accelerate the development process in the villages.
With the existence of village funds provided by the Government of Indonesia, it can be used as best as possible, which is in accordance with all the programs that have been announced and have been mutually agreed upon in the framework of carrying out development to overcome the existing community gaps.
So far, the Government has really maximized providing village funds to all corners of the country, which is also one of the goals or flagship programs of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) by implementing equitable development, no longer having a Java-centric paradigm. rather it has an Indonesia-centric paradigm.
Not quite the opposite, village funds provided by the Government of Indonesia were instead provided to assist the activities of groups that betrayed the state and were clearly against the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, namely KST Papua. Moreover, they often create unrest and commotion in society.
The issue regarding the origin of the weapons for the separatist gang in Bumi Cenderawasih has surfaced a lot and has gone viral on social media, where there is a collection of photos showing a number of sophisticated weapons exhibited by them. In the end, the issue was answered regarding where it came from and also the weapons owned and used by KST Papua.
Some of these weapons are the M16A2 assault rifle with the M203 grenade launcher, Browning Auto 5, to the Remington 870 Tac shotgun. There is also the Lithgow L1A1 SLR referred to as an Australian made weapon. Of course, this is a strong indication that all this weaponry has been used by KST Papua in carrying out all their anarchist actions and actions.
Previously, there was also an issue that stated that KST Papua received supplies of firearms and ammunition from foreign parties and there were also indications of funding from the local village head by utilizing village funds.
The entire security apparatus from the joint military, police and BIN personnel immediately moved swiftly and swiftly to hunt down village heads who were suspected of providing assistance to KST Papua by using their village funds to finance the activities and operations of the terrorist group. This certainly shows how optimal law enforcement in Indonesia is to take action against all parties who are trying to fight against the state, even indiscriminately.
