Appreciate Apkam Protect School Children From KST Terror

Children who dropped out of school as a result of the violence and savagery perpetrated by KST can now return to study and receive an education. All thanks to the maximum and optimal efforts made by the security forces by continuing to maintain security so as to provide the best service for the people of Cenderawasih Papua, Papua.

All Indonesian people should be grateful for having a security apparatus consisting of joint personnel consisting of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) who always strive to maintain peace and conduciveness in the midst of society in all regions of the country.

In fact, this guarding is no exception, which is always carried out by the ranks of the security apparatus, from joint TNI and Polri personnel to remote areas of the country, such as in Cenderawasih Earth. Thus, even though several times in Papua there were disturbances or threats due to the presence of criminal acts carried out by the Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST), this situation was still conducive thanks to the hard efforts of the security forces.

One of them was during the riots that had occurred in the Kiwirok District, Bintan Mountains Regency, Papua by a group of separatists in Indonesia’s easternmost province in September 2021. With the riots that were carried out by them, as many as dozens of children suffered and they had to be forced to drop out of school.

This was experienced by Salmon YI Tepmul, who had to drop out of school about 2 (two) years ago. Whereas previously he attended a Public Elementary School (SDN) and was in grade 3 (three).

The child revealed that as a result of the riots that occurred in the Kiwirok District as an act of KST Papua, the report cards he had were burnt so that the school there did not want to accept them anymore and in the end he had to drop out of school.

It didn’t just get there, but of course with the riots that had occurred in Salmon’s hometown, the child had to be forced to flee to the Oksibil District to be able to avoid the ferocity of the treason gang who always terrorized the district. his place.

Suffering must be felt by the boy because he and his family had to evacuate to Oksibil by walking for 2 (two) days and two nights because there was no home anymore, so he and his family followed a colleague to Jayapura.

After arriving in Jayapura, Salmon met his adoptive mother, Rounne Vallery Walea and took the initiative to send the boy back to school. However, because the boy’s report card was burnt as a result of an incident of violence perpetrated by KST Papua in his hometown, other files in his possession were also burnt, causing him to be unable to go to school for about two years.

Luckily, the boy’s fate then changed because he met a TNI soldier from the Regional Military Command (Kodam) XVII / Cenderawasih. Salmon accidentally met the soldier and had time to tell how the story.

Of course when hearing the sad story of a boy, it moved the heart of the warrior who protects the people to try to provide assistance to Salmon. The TNI soldier then immediately coordinated with the Head of the Holtekamp State Elementary School (SDN) to be able to help the boy so that he would still be accepted at the school and continue his education.

After coordinating with the school principal, they finally accepted Salmon as their student. And now he is in grade 4 of elementary school and gets additional lessons for 1 (one) hour every day to be able to pursue reading skills so he can adapt to other children.

The soldier not only helped get the boy back to school, but he also provided assistance in the form of stationery and uniforms and other assistance.

What steps have been taken by the TNI soldier who assisted Salmon in accordance with the directives conveyed by the TNI Commander, Admiral Yudo Margono previously, that he had advised all soldiers in Papua to continue to strengthen their faith and spiritual strength.

In addition, the TNI Commander also said that all soldiers serving in Cenderawasih Land should also be able to protect the hearts of the people in Papua and not frighten the people by continuing to try to bring benefits.

Thanks to how optimal efforts and hard work have been carried out by the security forces on duty in Cenderawasih Earth and continue to maintain security or conducive conditions in Papua, dropping out of school who are victims of KST ferocity can now return to the world of education.
