Head of SMK Pembangunan Jaya Invites Students to Avoid the Dangers of Online Gambling

Jakarta – The Principal of SMK Pembangunan Jaya (YAKAPI), Warsidi emphasized the importance of socialization and education activities to avoid the dangers caused by online gambling. In an event involving all students, teachers, and school staff, Warsidi revealed that online gambling can damage the nation’s generation, so preventive measures are needed to overcome this problem.

“Online gambling is very dangerous for the future of the younger generation. In addition to threatening mental health, online gambling can also cause great financial losses, even leading to criminal behavior. Therefore, today’s activity aims to provide understanding to students so that they can avoid the dangers of online gambling that are rampant in cyberspace,” said Warsidi.

Warsidi also appealed to students to be more active in socializing the dangers of online gambling in their environment. “Students are not only asked to take care of themselves, but also to spread information about the dangers of online gambling to friends, family, and the surrounding community. This is important to create an environment free from the bad influence of online gambling,” he added.

Meanwhile, there is a complaint service for the public who want to report online gambling cases, they can contact the service via Whatsapp with the number 085283555830, Email  forumindonesiaemas@gmail.com , and Instagram with the account @fie_indonesiaemas, and Telegram t.me/ForumIndonesiaEmas.

Warsidi also invited all participants to follow the Instagram account of the Gold Indonesia Forum which has a mission to spread awareness about the dangers of online gambling. “By becoming followers of the Gold Indonesia Forum Instagram account, we can get information and tips to avoid online gambling. We also encourage students and teachers to report any form of online gambling activity they encounter around them,” said Warsidi.

This activity is also part of the school’s efforts to support government programs in preventing the increasingly rampant circulation of online gambling. Warsidi hopes that with this campaign, the young generation of Indonesia will be wiser in facing the challenges of the times, and avoid the threat of online gambling that can damage their future.

It is hoped that activities like this can continue to develop and spread to various schools in Indonesia, in order to create a healthier, smarter generation that is free from the negative influence of online gambling.
