Jakarta – The actions carried out by the Papuan Terrorist Separatist Group (KST Papua) against civil society and security forces are actions that have the impact of violating Human Rights (HAM). These actions often result in casualties, both injuries and the loss of someone’s life. The government must be firm in eradicating KST Papua in order to create a sense of security in Papua.
Papua is a land of peace where people live side by side in peace and security. It is known that KST Papua has taken away that sense of security. The Papuan KST perpetrators have undermined the Land of Papua with actions that have disrupted the security situation there.
Gifli Buiney, a Papuan Youth Leader, strongly condemns the actions or actions carried out by this group. He said that the state must be present in providing a sense of comfort and security for every citizen, including the Papuan people.
“I condemn the actions and actions carried out by KST Papua which to this day are still undermining the security of the Land of Papua. “The land of Papua is a land of peace, so we as Papuan Youth Leaders really hope that the presence of the state can truly provide a sense of comfort and provide a sense of security for the entire community,” he said.
Gifli Buiney added that KST Papua’s atrocities cannot be tolerated, because they will have an impact on security stability which will lead to disruption of the daily activities of the Papuan people.
“This cannot be tolerated. If there are groups that try to damage security or disintegrate the nation, then the state must be present quickly and precisely to provide a solution for Papua’s security. “If the state allows the KST Papua action to continue, it will have an impact on disrupting security stability in Papua,” he added.
Furthermore, Papuan Youth Leader, Gifli Buiney appealed to all Papuan people that in the momentum of the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 celebrations, there is a need for high synergy in creating a safe and peaceful situation among the community.
“I want to appeal to all Papuan people to continue to keep the Christmas and New Year situation safe and peaceful. “In our opinion, peace is something that can be created together, whether individually, in groups or institutions,” he said.
Gifli Buiney also emphasized that youth leaders, traditional leaders and religious leaders should continue to provide advice and education to the public so that they do not carry out activities that could disrupt security stability or that could harm themselves.
“Both youth leaders, traditional leaders and religious leaders must never stop giving appeals, providing education to the public so that they do not do things that can disrupt security stability or activities that can harm themselves. “Therefore, let’s work together to maintain peace during the Christmas celebrations and enter the New Year safely in the Land of Papua,” he concluded.
