All parties must be able to support each other’s roles and strengthen each other in the context of taking action on KST Papua, including the local Regional Government (Pemda). All of these efforts are in order to restore peace to the Earth of Cenderawasih.
On Friday, May 12 2023, it was discovered that the Papuan separatist and terrorist group (KST) had attacked 6 (six) workers for the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) project of PT Inti Bangun Sejahtera (IBS) in Okibab. It turned out that not only did they carry out the attack, but they continued the heinous act again by taking 4 (four) people from all the victims as hostages.

Then one of them was a staff member from the Kibab District named Paes Kulka and the other one was a young man from the Borme District.
When the entire group arrived at Okibab Airport, they were suddenly approached by as many as 5 (five) members of the Papua Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST). then, the group was asked to stand up and then the group was stripped naked.
Furthermore, at 09:00 WIT, the group of 5 (five) Papua KST members complete with weapons earlier ordered the 6 (six) group to stand side by side and seize all of the victim’s belongings, which included cellphones, wallets and also a survey tool.
Not only that, the separatist and terrorist group in Papua attacked 3 (three) employees from PT IBS. They slashed Benjamin, Asmar and also Feryan.

They were released on the condition that the three victims had suffered stab wounds and have now been successfully treated and it is said that the three victims were not bleeding.
Regarding the incidents of attacks, looting, hostage taking and stabbings committed by groups of Papuan separatist and terrorist groups, the Head of the Papua Regional Police (Kapolda), Inspector General Mathius D. ) can continue to actively participate in efforts to enforce KST Papua.
He also encouraged the local District Head to establish communication with the perpetrators and also be able to meet one of the employees who had been a victim, who was an indigenous Papuan (OAP).
The role of the Regional Government here is indeed something that is really needed and very important. Because with the success of the communication that is established, various information will be obtained later. Then, from the provision of this information, it will later become material for the security forces from the joint personnel consisting of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).
Of course, armed with the information obtained from the local regional government, the security forces will be able to take various steps to save the 3 (three) victims, including the indigenous Papuan people (OAP) who had avoided the incident of violence.
Because with sufficient and adequate information, security forces will be able to act in a very appropriate and effective manner to uphold the law and justice in a very firm manner to root out and eradicate gangs of separatist and terrorist groups that have been continuously threatening the security and safety of society. , especially in the Cenderawasih Earth itself.
With that, efforts to be able to save the victims, including efforts to crack down on KST Papua, will be carried out far more optimally. Not only that, but the security forces will also be able to implement various strategies in a preventive manner so that similar incidents do not recur.
Therefore, the enforcement of KST Papua must be carried out as soon as possible and can also be carried out with a series of appropriate strategic steps because in order to be able to restore peace to Cenderawasih Earth. All parties must be able to continue to strengthen and support one another, including the local Regional Government (Pemda) to play an active role in cracking down on this mob.
