The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) will never submit to KST Papua, especially regarding the mission to free the Susi Air pilot who was taken hostage by the separatist group led by Egianus Kogoya. Because it has been proven that so far all the powers possessed by the state have been maximized.
Efforts to free the pilot of a Susi Air airline named Captain Philips Mark Mehrtens are still being carried out and pursued by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) along with many other related parties such as security forces from joint personnel to local community leaders who continue to assist the rescue mission. .
Therefore, when dealing with Separatist and Terrorist Groups (KST) in Cenderawasih Earth, the state should not submit at all. Especially in the effort to free the New Zealand pilot. So that whatever is demanded by the separatist group should not necessarily be obeyed immediately, especially if for example it is contrary to the constitution or a request that leads to treason.
Including, some time ago there was news that KST Papua led by Egianus Kogoya would shoot dead his hostage, namely Captain Philips Mark Mehrtens if their demands for Papua to become independent and also several other demands such as weapons were not met.
It is clear that the various demands made against the separatist group in Bumi Cenderawasih are very much against the state constitution and also have elements of treason in them, so that the state must be firm in being able to refuse and not agree to such demands at all.
Regarding the firmness of the state to absolutely not submit to KST Papua, Terrorism Observer, Al Chaidar said that the state should also be able to cover all possibilities or potential of these separatist groups to be able to access weapons purchases.
Not only that, but the state should also be able to rule out the possibility that the group chaired by Egianus Kogoya, which so far has continued to carry out various series of heinous and completely inhumane acts, does not further expand their organic and territorial terrorism network. .
On the other hand, instead of agreeing to the various demands made by KST Papua, the state should instead focus on providing access or development that is far more optimal and optimal for all people in Cenderawasih Earth so that the people there are able to experience increased welfare so that gaps in Indonesia can also be resolved properly.
In addition, in the future the Government of Indonesia must also be able to be even more assertive in assigning tasks or dividing tasks to all security forces from joint personnel consisting of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN). ).
Previously, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) himself had also said on many occasions and also emphasized that all this time all efforts to release the Susi Air pilot were still being carried out by the Government together with all parties.
The Head of State even admits that the state has not remained silent at all. Not even half-hearted, the efforts that have been made by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia have been very, very serious.
Separately, Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI), Sjarifuddin Hasan also said the same thing, namely firm support for the state not to submit to KST Papua. Moreover, so that the state does not automatically comply with whatever is requested by the separatist group on Earth of Cenderawasih, because of course their request will only benefit the group and will actually have a very bad impact on the state.
In fact, he also predicts that it is not impossible that in the future the group led by Egianus Kogoya will also reduce some of the same sneaky ways to gain advantages and harm the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. So, instead of submitting to them, it would be much better for the state to continue to be able to establish communication, dialogue and negotiation spaces.
The mission to rescue and free Pilot Susi Air involved many parties, such as the Acting (Pj) Governor of Papua Mountains, Nikolaus Kondomo who asked the Nduga Regional Government to be able to provide assistance. In addition, the mission has also involved many community leaders to local religious leaders.
This approach has also been carried out by the Government of Indonesia, which has involved various parties, so that they can immediately release Philips Mark Mehrtens. The main approach used is to uphold the principle of humanism, namely prioritizing negotiations because the government does not want any more victims.
In fact, the state has a lot of power, including the security forces because of their prowess which has even been recognized by the world. So, with this fact, the Government of Indonesia must not lose at all, let alone bow to KST Papua.
