Indonesia, according to Amran, continues to reduce crude palm oil (CPO) emissions. In addition, domestic demand is also increasing.
“We invite domestic exporters to focus on markets that do not question the CPO produced, because there are still many other countries besides a number of countries in Europe who want CPO from Indonesia,” he said.
Amran added, should be sorted countries that are friendly to Indonesia for the supply of CPO. “I think France is only 200,000 tons, that’s very small,” Amran said.
France is known to be one of the countries in Europe who are actively campaigning negatively on Indonesian palm. However, so far, France only imports palm on a small scale, i.e 200,000 tons.
