Jakarta – Very high appreciation should be given to how the downstream natural resources (SDA) policy program is being promoted by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo because everything is very appropriate to do in order to be able to encourage and improve the national economy, regional economy to increase the welfare of the people themselves .
Member of Commission XI of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI), Andi Achmad Dara, expressed his highest appreciation for the steps taken by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to accelerate the downstream policy program in the country’s Natural Resources (SDA) sector.
Some of the downstream natural resources are carried out in nickel, coal, to other sectors such as marine and forestry. Furthermore, the members of the board also firmly believe that the downstream policy program implemented by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) will clearly be able to make the economy in the regions move and develop even faster.
Of course, this belief is not without reason, because when there is a policy program that will downstream natural resources, it can run well, it is also very capable of making every local area that has natural resources obtain significant economic added value so that they can continue to develop.
The big step taken by the Head of State in carrying out the downstream policy program is a very important breakthrough. Because the existence of a breakthrough in the form of a policy to downstream the natural resources contained in the country will also be able to turn Indonesia into one of the developed countries and ready to welcome Indonesia Gold in the coming 2045.
It is clear that the downstream natural resources policy program implemented by President Joko Widodo can also create a multiplier effect which will certainly have a significant impact on increasing national economic income, including increasing the regional economy.
Therefore, all elements of society and all parties should also be able to continue to fully support the existence of a natural resource downstream policy program that was intensified by the Head of State because it was a policy breakthrough that could be said to be the most monumental.
How could it not be, because with the policy program downstreaming natural resources, it is also possible that it will become a stepping stone (millstone) for the Indonesian people to accelerate this country to become one of the developed countries and be able to compete with various other countries around the world.
For information, the Government of Indonesia also has projections regarding how the downstream natural resource policy program will be, which is clearly capable of helping to improve the existence of the economy for the regions, especially for regions that are sources of natural resources.
Economic growth in Indonesia and also in all regions in the country will immediately increase very rapidly, so that the positive impact will be felt directly by the people who experience increased welfare. For example, the North Maluku region is currently experiencing economic growth of up to 27% (percent). This also happened after the existence of a smelter processing industry there and has supported efforts to downstream nickel from the government.
Meanwhile, the General Chairperson (Ketum) of Barricade 98, Benny Rhamdani also admitted that he was very ready to fight against the attitude of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which actually seemed to give too much intervention to how the downstream natural resources policy program was run by President Jokowi.
The attitude held by the IMF is considered completely irrelevant, because in fact all policy programs for downstreaming natural resources from the Head of State are very appropriate to implement because they also contain a prohibition on exporting raw materials, which has only one goal, namely to further strengthening the domestic industry itself and of course being able to improve people’s welfare.
It is very clear that all the programs regarding natural resource downstream policies promoted by President Joko Widodo are very appropriate because they are also clear evidence that Indonesia is a country that has full sovereignty in the economic and political fields. So, there is absolutely no intervention from any outside party that can interfere with the policies of this country.
There shouldn’t be any other parties who then intervene or intervene too far and have the right to regulate how the Government of Indonesia should adopt its policies, even including countries like the United States. This is because relations between countries in the world are indeed based on the principles of friendship and equality.
In other words, indeed all elements of society must be able to unite in fully supporting how there is a policy program for downstreaming natural resources carried out by President Jokowi. Of course, the good impact will be directly felt by the community itself with an increase in their welfare.
