Jayapura — The inauguration of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) Building by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, is now only a few days away.
The building will be used and utilized by the youth organization assisted by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Inspiring Young Papua (PMI) to carry out their entire work program in helping accelerate the welfare of the people in Cendrawasih Earth.
Ahead of the inauguration, PMI continues to collaborate, develop itself and is committed to becoming a driving force for the development of young human resources in Papua. Not only that, PMI also continues to finalize the PYCH inauguration ceremony.
In this regard, Project Manager for the Creative Industries Sector, PMI, Aksamina Woisri stated that there would be an introduction of a number of applications at the PYCH Building.
“Until we plan to introduce a number of useful applications for the community, especially young people,” he said.
Furthermore, PMI thanked the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo and the Head of BIN, General Pol (Pun) Budi Gunawan for their support in the construction of the PYCH Building.
He hopes that this facility can be used to encourage the progress of the Earth of Cendrawasih.
“Hopefully we can use this well to encourage progress in the Land of Papua,” said Aksamina.
In the same vein, PMI Secretary for the Papua Region, Vitha Faidiban revealed that the construction of the PYCH Building was one of the many facilities provided to the young generation of Papua by President Jokowi and Head of BIN General (P) Budi Gunawan.
“On behalf of PMI, I would like to thank Mr. President Jokowi and the Head of BIN, Mr. Budi Gunawan, for his kindness and love for the Land of Papua, so that we were given the opportunity to occupy this building, to be able to innovate, to provide the best work for the Land of Papua and for Indonesia,” he said.
Meanwhile, PMI Coordinator for West Papua Province, Simon Tabuni explained that the PYCH building would be a place to increase the creativity and innovation of the young Papuan generation.
According to him, development will occur optimally when young people can move and show their contribution.
“When young people move and contribute through their creative ideas, development will proceed,” said Simon.
Prior to the handover of the PYCH building from the PUPR Ministry to BIN as the manager of the facility, BIN’s Deputy IV for Economic Intelligence, Made Kartikajaya, then conducted an inspection.
Made Kartikajaya as the supervisor of PMI inspected all rooms and facilities to ensure how the work was completed.
For information, PYCH has a main building and consists of two floors and two dormitory buildings.
The building is also equipped with 100 Mbps internet speed and CCTV up to the control room.
It doesn’t stop there, but the sophistication of the PYCH building facilities to accelerate the development of the talents and interests of the young Papuan generation, also includes a centralized fire alarm in the control room. The building initiated by BIN also adopts a green building concept that utilizes natural energy, such as lighting and wind.
